It's a small place. It wasn't particularly clean. The bed was big and comfortable. It's got it's own fully equiped kitchen.

The price is quite ok, you can check in 24/7, which is nice. If you want to see everything between Reykjavik and the Black sand beach this is the place to stay. It's definitely not the cleanest place in Iceland, but it isn't extremly dirty. We found some opend cookies and some sugar in the kitchen, which is both nice and a bit scary.

We stayed at Borg Apartments for our first 2 nights. We were able to travel from Keflavik International Airport, see the Golden Circle including many stops, and check in to the apartment with enough time to go to Seljalandsfoss for a beautiful sunset. It is a great location in that regard as it is right off the main highway and there is giant N1 featuring a sit down grill and everything else you may need.

Upon check in, we had a very bad experience. We checked in to the apartment that was promised to us and immediately saw the apartment was not cleaned. Bed not made; hair on the bedding, towels on the ground, crumbs on the floor. The apartment was obviously not ready for check in even though it was already 2.5 hours after check in time. I was very upset and via email got in touch with the owners and they upgraded us to a larger apartment from our studio. This was a nice gesture and we did indeed enjoy our stay in the larger apartment. However, I can't really forgive not having our apartment ready for us considering we were in a foreign country with no cell phone service with limited lodging options if nobody came and fixed our apartment for us.

That being said; the apartment we stayed in was magnificent. It featured a large front space with a shoe rack and coat closet. The bathroom was clean and large enough. The kitchen was stocked with many things needed to enjoy self catered meals. The living room was spacious with a giant dining table and couch. The bed was super comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.

When we are not staying at hotels, I always prefer places you can check yourself into and this place fits that bill.

We stayed here for 2 nights and paid $345.

Clean, comfy and well equipped place. We got everything we needed and more: linen, towels, WiFi and coffee There's a dishwasher and a washing machine, both with enough soap provided for free. We were 4 people and 2 of us had a room with double bed. The other 2 had a double sofa bed each.
