My wife and I were here for a bite to eat after a long hike. Staff was super friendly, really cool atmosphere, and the burgers we got were absolutely to die for. Great value, too, especially for Iceland. Highly recommend making your way down here.

The only thing that was okay at this place was music.

We were surprised at the variety of vegetarian items on the menu. We had the vegan luxury burger, vegetarian burger, Delhi kofta with garlic bread, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. All were excellent. (The sweet potato fries and onion rings were especially good - crispy and tasty.) This wasn't the healthiest meal we had in Iceland, but we're very happy we visited. :-)

Quirky. Food is very good and worth making the effort to get there. It's on a bus route and don't be afraid to get acquainted with the local transport ~ it's excellent!!

Did not expect a piano man when going to The Bike Cave tonight, even though it is Bóndadagur the first day of Þorri. Great burger as always, but added enjoyment this evening

We had the best time here. The vegan deluxe burgers are incredible, the staff are fantastic, the lady playing piano the second night we came in was amazing and totally pandered to our little girl by playing songs from Frozen and Moana and chatting to her all evening. Just a fabulous experience. Thanks so much!.

    Full disclosure: I work here
However this is in my opinion one of the two best restaurants in Reykjavík. Some of the cheapest burgers anywhere in this country and it doesnt hurt that they taste amazing as well!
Every menu item is great. I especially recommend the veggie chilliburger and if youre feeling up for adventure then ask for the secret menu.
The staff is mostly teenagers during the evening but they all speak english and danish and are very friendly. During the day you will hopefully have a chance to meet the owner who is one of the most kind hearted people i know.
The only real complaint i have is that if its busy the wait can be quite long due to the smallness of the grill but if you plan the trip on a monday or tuesday it shouldnt be longer than 10-15 minutes usually.
Do yourself a favor and stop by :)

Cool small place with gorgeous burgers! Even vegan burgers with vegan cheese! I loved the vegan luxury burger. They have curly and crisscross fries and the crisscross ones are huge!

Neat local place with pretty view outside. Inside is bike shop meets hamburger stand, run by teenagers. Service was slow and veggie burgers were fried potatoes or friends chick pea patties which made for a greasy meal. Otherwise, the burgers were well prepared and the regular burgers were probably a better choice.

    Flavoursome vegan sauced burger!!
Big juicy saucy burger accompanied by great atmosphere and a real family run feel to the place. For vegan and vegetarians looking for a boom burger. This is the spot!

Went there to see a friend play. Off the beaten track but friendly local place. Really good burgers! Don't be surprised if you see half a bike as it's a bike garage as well
