Very good beds. Tasty food at the restaurant. Friendly personel. Ideal for those with an early flightdeparture. Walking distance from airport itself. Highly recommended.

Convinient location to the airport- just a 5 min walk. Clean, good breakfast selection, not just your average pastries, but hot breakfast as well. My complaints: we booked a room with 1 king and 1 twin and we got 3 twins instead; the tv didn’t work and they didn’t want to fix it til we left; the phone didn’t work to call down to reception to tell them about the tv; and the staff were not all that friendly. We tried to venture into town and the front desk man failed to tell us that everything is closed on Good Friday and major holidays and that taxi fare is double, so not only was it a waste of an hour, but it was also a waste of $65 in taxi fare. Overall, not impressed.

Very convenient for an early departure, can be tricky in winter going from terminal to hotel.food menu is limited, but ideal! Haddock fish and chips stunning choice.
The downside or just unlucky! room 511 window had a defect and with the wind that evening was very noisy!response / report this review -

Not bad for a 3 star hotel. Kind and helpful people working at this hotel. Great breakfast servings, different variety and warm rooms, good shower, comfortable bed. Near the airport like walking distance.

This is a solid hotel option if you are staying for one or two nights in Iceland or if your departing flight is early in the morning. Keflavik Airport is a 40 minute bus ride/drive from Reykjavik. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the airport terminal.
The hotel itself is undergoing expansion so noise may be an issue. The hotel also appears to have undergone recent renovations. The room was clean, the molding, paint and bathroom tiles looked new. There was also a smell you would associate with fresh paint and new carpeting.
The staff was very friendly and check in/out was smooth and efficient.
The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. My pictures were taken after I had thrown my luggage on the beds, so don't fault the maid staff :). The floor was hardwood which makes sense for a snowy area and I did track in after being out.
The breakfast was free and solid with a good variety of foods. It is definitely in line with what you see in mid range European hotels. The restaurant was very basic and functional.
My only complaint was the shower. There was either low water pressure or the shower head had mineral deposits that interfered with the flow.response / report this review -

The hotel room was ok, but there was a strange and quite strong smell of shoe polish that lingered all night. The restaurant was worse than bad. Very slow service and when the food arrived it was either cold, a very small portion or simply not tasty. They seem to know all too well that there is no other restaurants at the airport.

Hotel conveniently located just opposite the airport, about a 5 minute walk. Check in was smooth and efficient, and as it was the first night of our honeymoon, the receptionist kindly gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine!
The room was basic, but clean and spacious. It included a little table and a television. The windows were very well insulated and kept any airport noise out. The ensuite bathroom was spotless and had shampoo, soap and conditioner. Beds were comfortable and wifi excellent.
Currently, the hotel is undergoing an expansion, which you should keep in mind if you do not want to be woken at 7:00 by the builders.
Breakfast was offered quite a few options, including boiled and scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, cereals, fresh fruit, cheeses, skyr, meats and pastries. It was all fresh, but the scrambled eggs weren’t the best
Check out was quick and faultless.
Overall, nothing to shout home about, but very convenient and comfy for a night.response / report this review -

Great location, with a five minute walk from the airport. Not the most luxurious, but doesn't need to be. The free breakfast and proximity to the airport are two definite pluses.

Good rooms, friendly staff. It's helpful that the breakfast starts at 5:00, in case you have an early flight. The hotel used to have a very bad wi-fi, but they seem to have fixed that - no problems last time.

Average hotel for an outrageous price. You pay for the convenience of being walking distance from the airport which is the best part. Clean room, good bed, friendly staff. Our flight was too early to have a breakfast that starts at 5am. Bring slippers and toiletries for the shower. Otherwise theres a soap dispenser on the wall, thats all.

Conveniently situated next to the airport. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. We left a few bags for one night while we travelled around Iceland with a rented car. I would recommend that place.

Really close to the airport terminal (3 minute walk across a car park). Good breakfast buffet with range from eggs, cheese, cereal etc. Clean, convenient, no frills and really useful for a morning flight.

Classical aiport hotel. Wifi was a bit slow. A bit expensive, clearly taking advantage of the location. Otherwise very close to the aiport and clean, rooms are basic. We had lunch in the airport at Dunkin Donuts to avoid being trapped in the hotel restaurant.

One star for the proximity to the airport (really close) & one star for the cleanness of the room. This hotel is clearly taking advantage of being the only one next to the airport. The price is so expensive for the standing of the rooms. I never see a hotel with 5€ Ikea Lack tables as nightstand, the bed is a joke, the blankets are baby size, you cant change the temperature of your room and the bathroom is like a hospital one. I hope there will be more hotels (at least one more) in the future next to the airport to have a bit of competition.

Arrived on a late flight and stayed overnight. Check in was easy despite the late hour. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were small, and the pillows were a little small too, but overall got a nice night sleep. Free wifi which was slow, but fine for checking email and light surfing. Breakfast was included.
