I had a look at the reviews before going there so I got quite curious about their famous burger with icelandic beef.I visited them on Sunday and as I supposed it was getting very busy.being lucky enough to get the last table I ordered my double beef burger called epic killer.check the picture. It was huge.I was just able to eat all.the service was quick and they were very kind. The burger itself was so delicious and I could see that they did not just throw everything in a burger bun probably they paid attention when making the burger. Crunchy red peppers, sliced tomatoes, fresh cut lettuce..and the bacon in perfect order.I loved it.I was also asked how everything was and If I enjoyed it.Yes I enjoyed!!

21 ounces of meaty heaven (plud bacon). Compared to some places (all over the world) I was worried about spending around 30 quid on a burger. I was so pleased that I did as the burger was bloody amazing. I had the epic burger and ate every ounce.

The burger was moist and flavoursome and not overcooked. The toppings went fantastically well with it and I have a huge happy smile on my face. I paid for my meal so please understand that this is a very honest review from something of a skinflint normally ;-)

Thoroughly recommend this place to everyone.

Awesome little restaurant. Had the beef tenderloin steak and it was cooked to perfection (medium rare), albeit maybe a little over seasoned for my tastes. Great staff and great cost atmosphere, would recommend!

Lovely little place to eat, fairly small with a chance of a wait, but a beer at the bar precluded the best burger we have ever tried. Seriously lovely! Goes without saying, avoid the Stella (which we did obviously), and try one of the several local beers.

Arrived with a group of 9 of us at 9.30pm when they close at 10pm and they still produced excellent food! Best burger I've ever had (blue cheese). So glad we found this great place. Although there is no kids menu our hungry (aged 9-12) managed to eat the tiny burgers, which are not tiny at all and managed to satisfy the appetites of 4 hungry adults too (they had run out of epic). Highly recommend

Had a really lovely meal here on our first night in Iceland. We were starving after travelling all day and this certainly filled a hole. Very well priced, delicious food and outstanding, friendly service!

We ate there two times in a week while visiting from Canada in August 2017. The best, I mean, the best burger I ever ate (the blue cheese creation). The Epic the 1st time blew me away, and the regular the 2nd time was also spot on perfect. My wife had the fresh fish (not my thing normally, but) that she would not share as she indicated was too good for me, lol. The host was very welcoming and kind. She seated us 15 minutes prior to closing, and yet 2 more tables also came in late and were seated. The blues soundtrack in the background added to the experience. The local beers were awesome too! We are coming back June 2018 for more of everything Iceland has to offer, including 73 Restaurant!

Nice restaurant, friendly staff. Delicious food. I had the arctic char, it was perfect. I want to recommend it to everyone who might be reading this. Dad had an epic sized burger and was a bit disappointed in himself that he was unable to finish his plate, hehe.

We visited this restaurant at 5pm so we weren't that hungry. We ended up getting bread and butter starter and a hamburger that we split.

We ordered the bread because we were told that Icelandic bread was supposed to be delicious. We found it ok and many of the other restaurants that we went to had it for free. The burger patty was not seared, but tasted very good.

The other thing that was surprising for me is a sharing fee that you get charged if you don't order a main course for each person.

Very nice place. Service was surprisingly fast despite the full restaurant, people were honest and friendly. Price decent for Iceland. Don't expect to be treated like a lord there but I really liked their charm. Definitely get the burger! I had the salmon and it was good but I got super jealous seeing the fantastic looking burger my boyfriend ordered. It was delicious. Also I can highly recommend the Carpaccio!!

Inconspicuous looking this hidden treasure just keeps giving, with perfect, generous and local beef burgers or Icelandic fish. A warm cosy and clean atmosphere run by a lovely family. They are reasonably priced and definite value for money. Above all else the staff are the best thing about this place, predicting your every need and ensuring you enjoy every bit of your drink and meal. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived to find a full restaurant and some people already waiting by the bar. We thought we had missed our chance but the owner reassured us and said that they would have a table in 15 min - this was not false hope! We did get to sit down within 15 minutes or so. Staff were happy to make suggestions on drinks and food.
The meat was delicious! I thought I would be hungry as the plate looked a bit empty but I was pretty full actually.
Pricy - be prepared to spend your money - but very good food.
