Lovely clean rooms. Our family room was excellent with loads of space and a large bathroom. Evening meal and breakfast was uninspiring but fresh.

It's difficult to put into words how great this place is. It has everything you would ever need to make a perfect wedding day. The staff are warm and friendly, always making you feel welcome. The food is amazing too. And the atrium is astounding, it's bright, warm and spacious. Looking forward to shooting more weddings here.

Well run hotel. Although I have never stayed there I have eaten in the restaurants. The food is good and wholesome, without being top notch. The service and staff are good and I have no complaints. The afternoon tea is excellent.

Friendly staff, wonderful views, the rooms were very comfortable and clean, and had nice mattresses. Breakfast was tasty and nicely presented. And the pool was beautiful, and the lobby was very nice

The staff were nice, friendly and helpful (this fact achieved the second star). However in my experience the hotel rooms (single executive room) are sadly in a state of disrepair, beds are far to firm for a normal user and the pillows are well well beyond their lifespan. An example of the disrepair could be the carpet, which in my specific room was threadbare to the point it had receded by about an inch from the skirting boards and could be easily peeled back to reveal the floor boards. I suspect this was a delightful place once upon a time, however the photos found on the hotel website no longer reflect the reality of a hotel. Acceptable place to stay if you a looking for basic, budget accommodation.

The staff were absolutely wonderful when I took my 90 year old mum for afternoon tea in Harbour Lights at the Sefton. Tea was stunning with a lovely choice of beautifully presented savoury and sweet nibbles. Lovely surroundings. Can't thank them enough at the Sefton for such a lovely afternoon.

Great atmosphere as this large, yet cozy hotel right on the beach. The staff is very friendly and always eager to help. The only negatives are that there can be issues with getting rooms to the right temperature and there is almost zero parking. Overall a great place!

Great staff. Obviously aspiring hotel but its an old victorian building and a bit of a warren inside.
    Good breakfast though!

Fantastic staff really helpful, can't do enough for you.
Breakfast is a buffet which is good quality. You can also choose several other options from the breakfast menu.
Rooms, are clean, comfortable and spacious.
I would recommend a stay here and we hope to return soon.

We really liked this hotel, and cannot fault the service. Rooms very comfortable and staff unintrusive but helpful. Restaurant was good except that there was a huge television in one of them. The biggest drawback was the fact that the swimming pool, to which we had been looking forward, was closed. We could have used that at the sister hotel, but this was the length of the promenade away. Would stay there again if the pool were working.

Couple stayed 1 night. Room clean, bed comfortable and bathroom pleasent. The shower was a bit of a let down and no hot water in the morning. Nice bar to have a drink and relax. Small fee for parking at the hotel. Staff all polite, breakfast was ok.. buffet style English breakfast and a selection of cereal's.

Nice hotel good service. Great location on the seafront. Could do with a lick of paint. Some rooms (404) get very hot and have no ventilation, nice room but too hot in summer.

Pleasant hotel, stunning sunrise view from ocean facing rooms, spacious rooms. Staff are pleasant but not overly eager to help. Breakfast is average. All in all, a comfortable stay and I would stay again.
