The room was on the small side, but perfect for an overnight stay. It was clean, offered a nice shower and most of all a very comfortable bed! Breakfast was really nice too.

This is the fourth time I've stayed at the Mereside and as always it's been great. Nice rooms, comfy beds, staff who make you feel welcome. There's plenty to choose from at breakfast and the meals in general are great.

Really good food at a great price. Their sticky toffee pudding can't be beaten! Exceptionally helpful and friendly service. Good for a meal but not really somewhere to just have a drink as it's mostly tables laid out for food.

We had 2 meals here while on holiday August 2015. The first off the standard Menu the food was excellent also good size portions the service excellent and we decided to go back and try the Thursday night Mexican special menu again a fantastic evening.could not fault the food or service.
