Hooded Ram serves self brewed beer. I had the stout - this was very delicious. Unfortunately, besides the beer the place is not too cosy. Due to the interior, it's getting quite loud without many people being in. Anyhow, definitely worth a visit to have a pint of their beer.

Excellent ales. The Mosaic Pale Ale on cask was terrific, as was the warm and welcoming young woman staffing the bar.

Nice selection of beer, very good value. Bitters, stout, dark ale, hoppy mosaic, mild, an IPA and others, all brewed by the excellent Hooded Ram brewery who are quite new to the island.

Good beer. TV sets with no sound but music playing in the background -why? Friendly and knowledgeable bar staff. No atmosphere at all. Like drinking in a waiting room. So -good and bad.

The staff are superb, we were so well looked after by the young woman serving us, the choice of beers excellent, the refurbishment nicely done - but why the heck is the accessibility so poor on a newly refurbished place?? We were delighted to see level access from the street only to find when you get in the door there are steps down either side. So we ended up sat in the doorway like Lemons! The outside terrace has a ramp - with step up in several places! So disappointed. This would have become a regular place to visit, but as a wheelchair user my partner is completely discriminated against - Hooded Ram - you could have so easily made it accessible for very little, if any, cost during the refub. Very disappointed. Minus 2 stars.

Excellent beer. Not too noisy. Interesting food options (Indian). Some traditional bar games. Modern decor. But distracting TVs showing sports with the sound off. Expensive drinks though.
