This church was supposedly used to commemorating the Multiplication of fish and loaves by Jesus. The church has a rather modern look on the outside and a not so special interior. Better to leave this one aside when you're not really into the Bible' history.
A beautiful church commemorating the Multiplication of Fish and loaves by Jesus. “Mathew 14: 13-31”
Beautiful little church next to the sea of Galilee. The mosaics are really impressive and there is a astonishing white tree in the entrance area (which reminds me of the white tree in Minas Thirith). The entrance is for free (as long as you are not using an official parking spot).
Amazing place, must visit in Israel for any Protestants, Evanglicals,
Today one the northern shore of the sea of Galile, in the Church of Multiplication, we attended a very special inter-religious concert. The synagogial ensamble of Berlin with Cantor Isaac Sheffer and the Capella Lacensis Chorus chanted Psalm. It was beautiful and emotional.
Place of the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes, challenging, inspiring
Religious and historical place. Must visit for christians.
Nice historical chruch
Great site by the lake.
Definitely a place for Christians to visit. Special
Worth a look.
A chirch next to the galilay sea. Where belied Jesus made the miracle of bread and fish.
Rebuilt in 1982 by the archdiocese of Cologne for the Benedictine monks in Byzantine style. Best mosaics of the country. Praying along the lakeshore only by reservation.
An amazing experience!
Nice.
The mosaic floor inside the church is larger than I expected and filled with wonderful surprises. I was happy to see the famous one of the depiction of the loaves of bread and two fish but was shocked to see a Nilometer too.
A must see if you're in the area!
