Don't forget visit this holy place
This village in the Galilee is known as the site of the first miracle where Yeshua turned water into wine at the wedding in Kana.
Wonderful experience.. At where Jesus performed his first miracle
Renewed our vows here and truly it was a blessing to be able to have mass here privately with only our group. The area where it is aolso famous for its sweet wine. It only takes a short walk from the main road to reach this church but truly the place is both rich in history and also love.
I learned some stuff I didn't know.. significance of the wedding being on the 3rd day. Building is amazing. The fact that they preserved some of the original structure. There were a couple renewing their vows.
Renewed our vows of 46 year marriage at the church in Cana. Outstanding.

The sign on the church has its real name, The Sanctuary of Our Lord's First Miracle. The stations of the cross are absolutely gorgeous.
This is the wedding church in Cana, Israel. It is here Jesus performed his first miracle. The wedding at Cana where he transformed water into wine 🍷. There is a archeological site under the church. "Everyone serves the good wine first, and then the inferior wine after the guests have become drunk. But you have kept the good wine until now" John 2:10.
A very special place. Popular for the renewal of Marriage Vows. More importantly, it celebrates Jesus' extraordinary gift to a young couple beginning their life together.
It's sad to see they "covered up" everything nowadays
It is where Jesus performed his first miracle! We have also done the renewal of our marriage oath in the church.
Personally, a very special thing for me to visit. This church is important to Maronites as it marks the beginning of the Season of Lent. The marriage of Christ to us, his people. The end of the break. The church itself is beautiful and it even has a real archaeological find! One of the jars that they would have used back in the time of Jesus! I thought they were little clay pots, but it was a big stone thing!
Free wine tasting in the souvenir shop across the way
Beautiful little church to have mass at, has nice side alters and going down the stairs under the church you can see old ruins.
Besutiful place. Worth the visit if you are nearby.
Well done father Jerome and sister Cecilia, lovely guests of Ahalan Olympus tours got such a great VIP treatment by the team of the wedding church in Cana today for their 25th wedding anniversary! It was really beautiful and unforgettable ceremony thanks to father Jerome who operated the wedding vows renewal, thanks for that !!
Sacred place of worship. The wedding where Jesus Christ does the miracle of turning water to wine. Architecture & artifacts are amazingly well preserved. Takes us back in time.
