Very special church, unusual architecture. Nice, big and impressive. Contains many mosaics with images of Mary and Jesus presented by countries from all over the world. No doubt worth to visit and spend near one hour to see absolutely unexpected images.

The Basilica wide-spreading as your eyes or camera lens cannot capturing the entire place unless you moved farther on the hill - the Byzantium heritage speaks all the both holiness, solidify and beauty where sometimes we might visiting there and see the local couples getting married there as well. Amazing views in one place for Nazareth !

9.3.17 - it's a pretty church on the outside with a cool interior. There are two levels to the interior. We were only able to the see the lower level because there was a wedding ceremony on the upper floor, which I think is the main floor. The lower floor has some historic element to it.

The exterior of the church is surrounded by mosaics of the Virgin Mary and Jesus represented by country, which was pretty cool considering each country had its own general interpretation of the image.

It's worth checking out considering there isn't much to do in Nazareth.

The remains of this place is supposedly the house where Mary's house was located. Great Architecture on the building and there are different works of art outside from different countries

A very cool church. My group came on a pilgrimage and sang the 'Ya oum allah' which is a Maronite hymn for Our Lady. It had every other tourist stop and listen. The church itself is unique, there is the lower then upper church. Like nothing I have ever seen before.

Very interesting basilica. Note that the orthodox church disputes that the place of the annunciation is some hundred meters. If you can visit both.

Very sacred place of worship. The architecture & artifacts are amazingly well preserved. We should be happy for this, that we are able to experience those holy times in this age.
