Shila is a must visit if you like fish and seafood, and are visiting Tel Aviv!

You will love this place, because the food is exceptionally good and doesn't taste like the other places around, and because the vibe is great. But you will also hate this place, because it is soooo overpriced and because the service is not up to par with the quality of the food and cost.

I would really recommend the Sea Fish Tartar, which comes wrapped in Avocado, and was the best dish we had.

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Tel Aviv which is impressive given the high level of competition. The only drawback is the price which is very expensive even by Tel Aviv standards.

The prices were high, but the food was unbelievable! The open chef bar was amazing, we were mesmerized by how quickly and efficiently they were working (on New Years eve nonetheless). The flavors and display for each portion was just phenomenal. The wait staff was less efficient, however, but if you're sitting on the bar you're sure to have a good experience.

Such a disappointment. I went back after good experience I had a month ago. The dish came out was very very small. Felt like they doing me favor for serving me. Doesn’t worth the price and the wait.

Very nice restaurant. Expensive above average, but it definitely worth it. Highly recommended. Make sure you book it well in advance.

We love coming to Shila. Amazing fresh fish and wonderful flavors. The prices are a bit high but we are never disappointed so it's great for a special evening out. If you like fish and seafood, this is one of the best places to come in Tel Aviv.

My dish (fish with vegetables, calamari in crab souse) was very nice, BUT it was so expensive (170 NIS) that during my meal I could not stop feeling bummed about it. Sitting at a bar was way too tight - I was squeezed in between already seated people, and I barely had enough place for myself. My waitress was very efficient, but I could not get hold of her to order a desert and get a check. I've eaten in Shila several times over the years, and liked their food very much, but price hike and convener belt-liker atmosphere and service approach is a major turn off for. I'm off to check out newer restaurants that still care about atmosphere, pleasant service, and not too outrageous check.

Haven't even tried the food yet, but just saw the bartender sneeze into his hand and then continue making drinks without washing it. Handling grapes, olives, lemons, bare handed. Disgusting. Scared to imagine what the kitchen is like.

Take it from a local - simply one of the best restaurants in Tel Aviv - exciting and fresh food, amazing cocktails and a vibrant ambiance. The only negative is the price tag. But hey, YOLO

Shila is constantly rated as one of the top restaurans in town. However, it mostly suites people from a certain age (35-45) and social background (bohemian). Most locals don't dine there. If you want a sure option to take someone out of town this is a good (and expensive) option. We have been there several times to celebrate special occasions.
The food is good (but extremely overpriced), inside sitting space is very crowded on busy nights, service is good but not great (there is NO great service in Israel), atmosphere and vibe are good.
