I gave them two bags of laundry (no dry cleaning) and at checkout they asked for $575. I asked them why and they said it’s a mistake and should be $475 which is also very expensive for just two bags of laundry!
Hotel charges in US dollars even though they are in Israel. So $7 for regular wash of baby pants!!!
Breakfast is horrible compared to Israeli standards.
Do not recommend!
Nice Hotel close to the beach. Prices are quite high though for what you get and the bar closes early. Overall a nice location but for that price there is room for improvement.
Great hotel, very nice and helpful staff, big rooms (slightly old-fashioned, but very clean). Due to our late arrival in the early morning hours we were very thankful for the possibility to order in-room breakfast until 12 am. The location is very nice with only 2 minutes to the beach and the old town is in walking-distance.
Friendly staff as always. Rooms are spacious and clean. Necessary to book and outward facing room, otherwise quality of stay drops. I tried room service pizza, disappointing experience. They said 30 minutes, I figured they make their own pizza. Instead arrived in under 10. Frozen pizza just heated, absolutely bad. Never try room service for such items, ask first how it is prepared.
The hotel is in a great location by the sea. It is in DESPERATE need of renovation. My room had 2 very small beds, which is below standard for this type of international hotel.
The breakfast is very nice. Staff assistance is very good. We changed from 1-2 nights 10 minutes before check in, and they accommodated us even though they had a large group arriving day 2 of our stay. I don't know the cost of the hotel, so cannot judge the relative value.
Good hotel in Tel Aviv. All staff are friendly. Breakfasts are brilliant. Very nice views.
Great looking hotel but alot of annoyances. The room we got didn't have enough beds so we had to be moved. Then on the last day the card stopped working. Changed it 3 times and still didn't work so security had to open the room. They told us to change the card again.
Very fancy hotel, with a plethora of choices to entertain. The place is clean, the mattresses very comfortable. The location is on the beach and walking distance to the Carmel Shook (souk).
Location is amazing to go for a run along the beach in the AM, the lobby is beautiful, great service, but my room was quite dated (I had sea view). Bedding was so so, carpets were heavily stained, decor was dated, and to give an idea, the lights don't turn on and off using a key, which I haven't seen in years. Very nice hotel, but I preferred the Ritz Carlton in Herzelia, for example.
Probably the best hotel of israel. Great rooms, with a super views. The pool is great but unfortunately the restaurant closes at 5 o clock so dining at the pool will be lunching. Furthermore it's a wonderful location. However the staff could use a training in service dedication and friendliness
Wonderful location for lovers of sea views, promenade, large and luxurious rooms,
We stayed for 3 nights during Rosh Hashana and had a great time.
The room was of good size, spotless and well equipped. We had an unobstructed view of the beautiful Tel Aviv beach, so we used our terrace rather extensively. The food was delicious. Above all, service was impeccable, exceptionally friendly and efficient. We highly recommend this hotel.
1 star is for poor check out system4 counters were open but only ONE accept credit cards payments. It's atrocious for a 5 stars hotel. Never check out/settle any bills from 9-11.30am. Nothing is done even queues are forming.
PS. Jaffa Cafe food and service are very good!
Nice hotel with a spacious lobby and good room service. Great location very close to Carmel market. Friendly staff which tends to be a bit slow.
I could not make the trip from Forest Hills N.Y to the wedding of my grand daughter at the hotel on 6/29/17 but I am so sorry. I am 87 yrs.old and home bound and wish Nicole and Jason all the health and happiness in their future. LOVE NANA
I stayed at the hotel four night after being recommended by Amex. This hotel was an accident looking to happen. First of all when I arrived with my car and it took them twenty minutes to decide who is going to take the car to the valet parking. When I got the car back it had 30 km extra than when I left it and less gas. They told me that they park the car far away from the hotel and that is why the shortage in gas. Secondly the room service told me on the phone that they are going to call me back to take my order and it took them 20 minutes to call me back. The room service arrived an hour later and the hamburger meat was raw, not cooked enough . The bed was hard like a rock and the sheets supposed to be full cotton and somehow you sweat in them. The AC is not cooling properly. In the middle of the day you have four hours of electric failures and they don't have a generator for backup. I needed to go down 22 floors in the boiling heat. Basically it looks like a hotel that has no father and mother. In the USA this hotel would not last six month. The pictures on line are beautiful but are deceiving. Lastly I need to mention that it felt like I needed to remind the hotel personal about everything from getting my car from the valet which took them twenty minutes, to getting my luggage to my room which took them two hours.
I like this place and location. However I was really displeased with personal.
As a member of international exhibition I had to have a dinner in the restaurant. We were told that from 13.00 we may come.
But five managers and waiters didn't let us inside. We were told that before, the first hundred of exhibition members should go to eat outside. To the hot sun, the temperature outside was higher than 30 degrees, for not young people.
We were waiting more then 40 minutes to come in. It was awful and I felt shamed for the country, because I heard how disappointed were people, because of this decision of personal, and also because of their manner to "excuse". This "manager" on the photo instead of apologies for inconvenience, told us several times, that she has no care, she has instructions.
Stayed here on 2 separate occasions as a result of business trips - both stays were wonderful. Spacious rooms, great on-site facilities, great staff and an incredible selection of foods at breakfast. You won't be disappointed if you book your stay here!
Excellent service. Breakfast is best. Good Mediterranean Sea views. Spacious rooms.
It's nice and clean. The price is high and it would be worth it but they also want to nickel and dime guests on breakfast, parking, etc. Typical of most other Intercontinental hotels so no shock. If your used to IC hotels this one is about what you'd expect but the location is great, across the street from beaches and close to Jaffa.
Nice hotel and very hospitable staff. We were warmly welcomed with a buffet consisting of local dishes. Location of the hotel is convenient because it is close to the beach and a large market. Bikes can be rented for reasonable prices.
This is definitely one of the nice hotels in Tel Aviv. It is located well right by the sea and walking distance to the business district. The food is nice and not beyond. The business lounge floor has a good terms and amazing view. It is a cool location for a conference
Great restaurants for breakfast and dinner. The hotel has a pool that is closed during winter and a nice spa and gym. There is a great view of the water from the building. I would recommend it.
