Great overall service. Charges 15 shekels for a large locker and 3 for a towel/shower supplies bringing my totally for one night to 103. Would recommend to a friend
Stayed there a few times. Very clean and friendly staff. Close to the beach. Good place to make new friends. Can be a bit noisy because of the street
Great place. I stayed there for a few weeks.
A cheap and great hostel in an amazing location. When I'm back in Tel Aviv, I'll be definitely visiting it again.
Very good accommodation for reasonable prices. Helpful staff and perfect location.
Very close location to the beach.
I found this hostel after an exhausted 3 km walk from the Florentines Hostel (I booked online and was not able to check in). It was possible the check in early without extra charge so I was able to come a little bit down after my journey. The staff in this hostel is very friendly, the dorm room what I had was nice, it was with a terrace. The security level in my room was not so good, because it was possible for others the come in our room from the terrace. But there where lockers on the ground floor for free. On my last day in Israel I came back in the evening to the hostel and I asked them if I can just hang out at the hostel and this was no problem. I appreciate this. I think it's one of the best hostels in Tel-Aviv and I will definitely come back!
Good, affordable accommodation near the beach front. Friendly and helpful staff.
Perfect place when you are in for a place to meet other people and make breakfast yourself. The rooms are fine. Only downside was that my balcony doors could not be locked. Big plus: the beach is one street away.
Great location and great price.
Always help and very very nice people.
Been there a few times and enjoyed everytime.
Thanks
The best hostel for economic stay and pub crawls Home to some amazing people
Very friendly staff, eager to fix any issues or mistakes. Rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and amenities are provided.
I stayed here in 1998 when this hostel first opened. I stayed here for about 4 months while traveling. This place was the best place to stay. The owners were great and accommodating. I plan on being back this winter for another traveling experience.
I've been to many hostels around the world (and around Israel), but I never lived through something like this. When we arrived, they put us in a room on the roof which looked like a birdhouse. The room and every bed was dirty, on our beds there were dirty underwears, and it smelled oh so so terrible. And just when we got there they decided to remove dirty laundry from our beds. It is actually a room where their volunteers work during the sesion. I can not post pictures, it's forbiden for some reason. I asked for a different room, but there was 4 of us, and they could give us only 2 beds in a different room, so 2 of us ended up sleeping in this horror for 2 days. On top of that they were really rude about everything.
Reasonable Hostel for a reasonable Price. Staff is nice and always keen to help. The place is not really quiet (airplane entry lane), nothing special and you get a very simple (make your own) breakfast. But you also get what you pay + cheap beer and a nice rooftop.
Many people I met staying here became like family! Can't beat price and location, great rooftop, kitchen and internet access available
It's an amazing youth hostel, but there's also place for couples/families. The staff is friendly and professional, reception is open 24/7. Big roof with view over the sea and laundry service optional. The hostel is next to the sea, 7 min walk away from the Carmel market and 15 min walk from the party area (Rothschild)
Certain people working here need to be fired big time (aggression issues) others are amazing (I guess it balances out in the end, but doesn't make up for some nasty experiences). It is a hostel you can't help but make friends in (including the lovely staff). Beds / dorms / sheets etc are very basic, cleanliness is not such a high priority (hard to clean dorms properly, not sure about private rooms). Showers seemed OK, good water pressure and always hot water. Kitchen facilities are great, and common areas are good. Beer is cheap (bottles at reception) and they don't try to sell it for ridiculous places like some other hostels). TIP If going in winter, don't use the scratchy blanketsthese are rarely washed.
Phenomenal hostel. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Place is clean and social. Great location. Big kitchen. Decent breakfast. Stayed there for three weeks, would definitely stay again. Internet works. A/c works. Good showers. They have a towel rental policy that is super convenient. Only drawback is that the outlets are near the door and away from the beds, so you won't be able to reach your phone while it's charging.
