  Fantastic part of history. Met the Arab caretaker in the Greek Orthodox church in Israel! That's about all I could ever add.

  The Church of the Anonciation according to orthodox tradition built near Mary's Well. Older and smaller than Catholic Basilica, but also beautiful. The Christmas tree is placed on the square nearby.

  I've been there on Christmas time and it is really nice, they have the biggest tree in the Middle East and there is plenty of great atmosphere.

  Great church, a true marvel of time. The church is full of ancient mosaic art pieces. This place is thought of as the place where the angel appeared to Mary.

  Although this is much smaller than Basilica of the Annunciation, it's more impressive. The old icons are interesting. Don't miss those.
