Nice hotel overall. Service is a little slow, especially at the restaurant where we had to wait for an hour to get our food.
Rooms are a little dated from the 80s but still clean and comfortable. Each room has a kettle, coffee and tea.

The most luxurious hotel I've ever visited. The room is large, clean, air-conditioned and has a fantastic view of the mountains and the dead sea.
Staff members take time to make sure you are happy and listened to. This can make waiting in line a little challenging.
There are several pools or the sea for you to swim in. Make sure you change into bathing clothes in your room because the changing room near the spa is very cramped.
There are no big slides or anything, but I still think this is a great hotel for children. They also have a small clubhouse for teenagers.
If you want somewhere nice to eat nearby, walk a hundred meters to " the Taj Mahal" and order the "shoarma". Great ambiance and friendly staff.

Lovely room on the 12FL with an amazing view of the Dead Sea from the balcony, nicely appointed furnishings, comfortable bed. Spa had exactly what we needed, mineral pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam. Third year in a row we have come for an overnight rejuvenation. One problem, as platinum card holder, we requested early check in for noon. I told the reception desk on two separate occasions that I was recovering from back surgery and we still waited till 14:30 to get into the room. Really hope there can be better accommodation in the future.

Definitely one of the best experiences I've had was floating on the sea sea. I recommended buying dead sea mud, putting it on your body before washing in the sea. Soon becomes super soft. You'll definitely notice a difference.

I will be honest with you.
If you are looking for an accommodation on the Dead Sea you will not find any small or modern boutique hotel.
The ones existing are old giants, a little out of date, in need or already running a kind of partial renovation.
That said, you have to be good to choose the "least worse". And probably this is the case of the Crowne Plaza Dead Sea.

PROS
Attentive on-hand staff, decent large rooms (try to avoid the standard which are old-style) all facing the sea, private beach with direct access to the sea.

NEUTRAL
Parking is available but not too big for all the guests. You will eventually figure something out.
Being on "only bed" treatment in order to visit the area, we cannot say anything about food, night entertainment and spa.

CONS
The beach is nice but the sun beds are simply inappropriate for this kind of hotel, far from any IHG standards (while the ones at the swimming pool are in better condition).

The property is lacking some sort of maintenance ( you will see it if you have an eye for details) but I recognize it must not be easy for such a big hotel.

Small and external gym, weight free.
Not the best option when outside is always hot and there are so little attractions in town.

It's a nice place - quite busy so does shows some wear - but the location is very unique. Going for a swim in the dead sea is one of those things, and this place has their own private beach

Overal a great expérience the room was gorgous it had a spectacular view. The pool and spa area was nice but needed better maintanace. People were very freindly the staff were decent. But the one reason why i didnt give this five stars is because the entrance and hallways need a lot of updating and maintenance . other then that great place to be on the dead sea

Very nice hotel with its own beach, great service, very good dinner and breakfast. I recommend taking half board since dinner is not easy to find in this area outside of the hotel.

What a total disappointment. From start to finish the staff is rude, the hotel needs a lot of maintenance, parking is non-existent or nearly impossible, and there is pretty much no where decent to eat in the hotel or nearby. Good luck calling them, they will put you on hold for 20-30 min, and transfer you for times before hanging up on you. About the only positive thing about the room is the view. Even the "king size bed" was two twins pushed together. Stay at the Hilton in Tel Aviv and commute to wherever you need to be. It will be well worth the drive.

Great beach and good hotel. The food was good. I liked the beach and my room and balcony the most. The overall feeling of everything including the service dosnt add up to a 5 star hotel. It is one of good ones in the dead sea but it lack the tuch of a 5 star hotel. They should rate it and price it deferently.

Hotel staff was extremely unfriendly and check in took 20 minutes for 3 rooms. AC was broken in two of the rooms and the repair man took 45 minutes to fix it at 10:30 pm, rather then just placing us in different rooms. Completely unacceptable and never got an apology from guest services. Hotel phones did not work either and had to go down to guest services for routine request. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were updated but still need to be cleaned, we had mold growing on the grout. View from the room was fantastic with the pool and dead sea visible from the balcony on the 10th floor. Breakfast was cheaper if prepaid and eggs/omlets, pizza rolls, accompanied a traditional Isralie breakfast. Fresh squeezed orange juice was also plentiful along side a coffee bar. There is an indoor pool filled with dead sea water if unable to make it to the water, there is an entrance ramp to the sea and plenty of chairs available alongside the dead sea and next to the pool. Purchase your dead sea mud before you get to the dead sea, we found it much cheaper at the Carmel Market then we did at the dead sea. There are plenty of showers and an eye wash station available as needed.

Very disappointing overall. When we arrived, I presented the voucher code that I had received from Isracard. The guy at the reception said it was okay (15% discount). On Sunday we got out of the hotel and turned to the same clerk (his name Dan) he said the code was not correct for the dates we were He said the code can be downloaded until 2/7, but used in August Of course, he avoided answering why when we arrived on Friday he checked and confirmed that it was ok, but when we came to pay suddenly it was not good When we asked to speak to a manager he said that the manager was not there.

Treatments are very expensive.

There is a very small parking area. We had to park a kilometer from the hotel (after the Petra mall), and the workers could not help.

Lots of flies in the dining room.

The toilet button did not work that well, when we informed the reception they said that we should push it twice, that helped just a little, still it did not work properly.

Nice hotel.
Good beach access, nice breakfast, comfy beds, good water pressure,nicely designed and pretty clean room.
We got auto upgraded to a deluxe room, which was very nice.
The hotel has very little parking so we had to park out on the street which also doesn't have tons of parking close by and we had to pay for it too. Speaking about this with the staff didn't evoke any immediate positive response which although it is mentioned in the booking still a little disappointing for the price
Toilet button didn't work that well and there's an extra shower head that doesn't work, while the one that does doesn't have a holder for placing above you.

Very nice hotel. Waiting time to check-in and check-out is horrible. At 10:30 cleaners came to check us out of the rooms. The front desk service level is just ridiculous.

4 star hotel. Spacious rooms but bit old. Amazing beach. The hotel is located on the beach. Food was fine. Especially breakfast. Staff was helpful. Maybe the big minus was the rooms wasn't enough clean

The best hotel in the Dead Sea area in Israel. Direct access to the beach from the very large and nice swimming pool , lots of sunbathing chairs available for hotel guests. All room face the magnificent view of the Dead Sea Free speedy WIFI in the hotel. Very nice VIP lounge
Food well presented eat as much as you can.
Big and convenient spa with a large offer of treatments. Inside Dead Sea water pool saunas and much more.
Recommended.

Good hotel, good food and had a lovely time. Stayed for 2 nights.

Staff at the sulphur pool were very cheeky. They closed them just before the advertised time. I asked if we could use them still and the two ladies cheekily discussed in hebrew how much money they should charge us to use the pool thinking i would not understand. I was not impressed with that.

All in all i had a very enjoyable stay. Great way to experience the dead sea!
