Best overall excursion deals. I stayed with Abraham Hostels (good hostel too), and booked an excursion to the Dead Sea with about 12-15 people total.
The driver was a great host, talk to us on the way about the land around Israel and Palestine, stopped by at Sea Level and took some pictures.
Arrived at the resort (Kalia Beach), spend around 2 hours there, and treated us with Dates, and lemonade, and provided us with towels.
Great, clean, short excursion because honestly, you don't need to be that long at the Dead Sea, it's too salty, but Abraham gave us a quick, simple trip with some time to go.
Overall, I would recommend this tour and when I return, I would be happy to try their other tours particularly the dual-narrative one.

Had the “Best of the West Bank tour”, and it was FANTASTIC. Everything well planned, small group and amazing tour guide. Greatly enjoined every single aspect of it and all the stops. I spent a lot of time searching for a reasonably good tour operator (as the offer is quite extensive and most with poor reviews), and could highly recommend Abraham Toursthey really delivered!!! :)

I had a wonderful, perfect experience with Abraham Tours. Got quick reply by mail answering my questions before the trip, requested a pick on an alternative place (as offered) and had no problems (only a little delay but they definitely showed up). The driver was friendly, helpful, super well-mannered and entertaining. The van was comfortable (USB chargers yey!) and towels were provided. I wouldn't tour with another company if I came back to Israel.

Had a great time the tour leaves in the late afternoon so when you get to the Dead Sea the sun is lower and is more enjoyable because it can get very hot out in the desert in the middle of the day. This is a must do when in Israel it’s a once in a lifetime experience being at the lowest place on earth and the saltiest and float on the water and not sink.

The Masada - Ein Gedi - Dead sea tour was nice, taking in the interesting places around Jerusalem in one day. While it is not guided with a driver only, this was ok and the driver gave us some info (and stopped for picture opportunities). Nevertheless the tour isnt cheap, when you consider that you pay another 100 NIS on entrance fees.

Guide was wonderful in his knowledge and his superlative ability to maneuver the jeep over very rough terrain. Scenery was awesome and it was great to meet some of the bedouins along the way.

I took the West Bank and Bethlehem tour. The guide gave us a lot of information about Palestinian politics. However at the Church of Nativity he did not take us to the cave as he said it would take too long. All other tour groups did this. He then finished the tour an hour earlier. I am sorry I had paid to enter the cave and wasted my time with Abraham tours. Never take another tour with them again.

I had joined the tour not to have Palestinian sweets nor to shop in Bethlehem. I can do this anywhere in the world. I had come to see the birthplace of " Jesus". I think the importance of this was lost on your guide.

Compensation cannot make up for the fact that I may not be in a position to do it again

Update: I received a full refund from the tour operator and have updated my review accordingly, from 1 star to 3 star (as obviously the tour was disappointing but has been dealt with well).

Recently went on this bar tour (Tel Aviv). Tour began with 10/11 of us and seemed to start off fine. We had two guides, Daniel and another man (who it was his 4th group of guiding). The second guy was already drunk at the beginning of the tour and Daniel disappeared as soon as we reached the first bar. He would then reappear, herd us together and march on.
When I've done these previously it's usually been: Three or four bars followed by a club, however after the first bar they were all clubs. Thus charging 31 Sheikels for 1/2 pint (Almost £8 for 1/2 pint!).

It was at our second destination that I turned around to see Daniel, our lead guide, passionately kissing the only woman in the group. By the 3rd stop, half the group had left. By the 4th everyone remaining decided to leave.

If you want to pay 80 Sheikels to be taken around by a guy who'll show you no interest (unless you're a woman he thinks he can get his end away with) to Tel Aviv's most expensive venues, then this tour is for you. Otherwise, just walk into any of Tel Aviv's friendly and cheaper bars and spend your money on something better.

I would not choose this company for anything. Not even if I was desperate for a bed. I'd sooner sleep in the shuk. If you are an American please be careful of up charges, etc. that are attempts to just get your money. First of all they came to the conclusion that we are Israeli citizens, which we are not and decided we needed to pay taxes on a trip we already paid for over a month ago. I do not live in Israel and was not in Israel when I paid for this trip. When I said, "No I am not an Israeli citizen." They demanded proof from me asking to see my visa and the stamps from the airport. And they continued to belittle me until I finally said, "Look just give me a refund." I have been on several tours and paid for my friend to also go on several tours and no one has ever even mentioned taxes or accused us of being citizens. My friend last month went on a 3,000 shekel tour and this was not an issue. It was an over priced tour to begin with, but we figured hey it could be fun. When I asked for my money back they continued to speak to me like I am a child and continued to try to explain to me how taxes work for residents. Even though I am not a resident. But if I am not a resident and I buy shoes without tax on Yaffa street and I give those shoes to someone who is a resident, still no taxes are paid because I the gift-giver am not a resident of Israel. They were obviously just trying to get us off the tour. Maybe they over-booked it, maybe they have friends who wanted to go, who knows. But it was very clear to me they were just trying to get additional money out of us.

Very fun and educational. Lunch is not always included so be prepared. The buses are comfortable and some have USB ports to charge your phone. The tours are kind of expensive.

The tour in Jordan was great and the people on the tour and guide were excellent. However you were absolutely incompetent in of getting the group through Israeli customs. Completely unacceptable. You overbooked the bus back from Allenby Bridge to Tel Aviv and one poor tourist was stranded and another one was doubled up in the back. Can't anybody count? Why was another group of 5 suddenly on the bus? One person's passport and backpack was stolen and I can only pray there was someone to help the family of 4 Mormons who spoke no Hebrew get back to Jerusalem. The guide, Ashraf, in Jordan was great and handled all our interactions with the custom/passport control. Yet, when we where dropped off at the Allenby Crossing we had no information. Even though I speak Hebrew, I did not understand the process. There was absolutely nobody to talk to . Going through customs took about 3 hours!! And that was after a long, long drive. I eventually found the bus driver after clearing customs -- which was the worst experience ever. I intend to write many negative reviews on TripAdvisor and Google commenting on your totally incompetent process of organizing a tour. There can be no excuse. Even a simple piece of paper with directions on what to do and phone number would have been helpful. You should be shut down until you learn how to handle a group correctly. The experience at the Allenby crossing seriously impacted on my overall experience. Please do not tell me you cannot make some type of arrangements with the Israeli Tourist authority to have someone to help. Even the buses were not clearly marked. Total and complete incompetence. I volunteered to get off the bus and not let a stranger who knows no Hebrew try to figure his way around the country, but only if I could get a total refund. Absolutely incompetent. You should be ashamed of yourselves for doing such a half-ass job of protecting/guiding the people who paid good money for the tour and your guidance.

I did the day tour to Masada, Ein Geidi and the dead sea and I would like to give 5 to this but it had 1 large flaw.

I will start with the positives first.The driver was great, informative and friendly. There was free wi-fi in the van. It wasn't great but hey free wi-fi, that's pretty cool. I didn't realise until we arrived at the dead sea that we were in a private area.That was a very pleasant surprise. The facilities were really good with easy access to the dead sea and a swimming pool as well to relax at.

Now the big issue. When we arrived at the Masada, about 8:25, the driver advised there wouldn't be enough time to walk up and down and explore the top. He advised to get cable-car up and see how time goes. I was pretty annoyed when I heard this. We weren't held up or anything like that. I was under the impression you could walk up and down while exploring. Later on I asked some others on the tour about it and some thought you could do that as well. I ended up walking up and getting cable-car down. I felt I was rushing somewhat on top of Masada to get down in time (and I was still the last person back and slightly late) I hate having to rush through places as spectacular as Masada. I really feel there needs to be more time given to Masada. I got back just before 4pm. Why not run it to 5pm or 5:30pm? If it's money, the prices can be raised. It still will be cheaper than the rivals and it would be cheaper for people like me most likely as it would save me the 28 shekels to get the cablecar.

It's really worth ensuring you visit Masada and Dead Sea. I was fairly ambivalent about Ein Geidi. If this was a little bit longer it would be perfect

I took the 'Masada Sunrise' Tour with these guys, and absolutely loved it! Felt cared for and listened to, and Masada itself was awesome. Driver was cool and punctual. Thanks guys!
