A lovely historic building in the centre of Monaghan town. Bar is beautifully decorated whilst being true to the buildings heritage. Bar food is excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful and efficient. They're a credit to their employer. Carvery is very good and the beef deserves a special mention. Rooms are dated but still warm, clean and the bed comfortable. There is a popular nightclub at the hotel so when booking you would need to take be aware that it can be noisey on certain nights. Wheelchair accessible parking at the hotels car park but unfortunately I did not see a wheelchair accessible entrance so you would need to enquire directly. All in all a lovely hotel with good food and ambiance and the staff just make it that bit more special.

Always good for lunches at carvery or in bar and for evening meals. Mainly traditional fare on the menu and generous portions.

Had a great meal and overnight stay at this place. Food was top rate and with generous portions. Good pint to be had at the bar. The bedroom was spacious and very clean. But the biggest asset to this place is the staff, who were helpful and pleasant each and every one of them. Other establishments would learn a lot from here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just dropped into this place on the way home. Steak and chips beautifully presented and perfectly done.
Myself and my father left very happy and the place has a very nice atmosphere and the live music was very good too.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, very clean and warm in rooms, in the town centre with in walking distance of many shops pubs and resturants! Would defo go back

The room was far too hot. The valve on one radiator was damaged and couldn't be turned off. The windows don't open and there is no ventilation or Aircon. Fine apart from that
