Set on 1,000 acres, this beautifully managed historic estate is a wonderful location for anyone looking to pamper themselves on a short visit or perhaps have their wedding. The main building is filled with high ceilinged room rich with period features, while outside the gardens, lake and woods provide plenty of opportunity for long relaxing strolls.

Went for afternoon tea which was set in the most beautifully decorated room. The service from the staff couldn’t be faulted, catered to every request we had and were so friendly. The food itself was delicious and so pretty with a very inventive and exciting menu. Fantastic experience!

I have made a booking over the phone give card details been charged 10% of the value of the room i have wanted and a week later I have called back because I have not received an email. To find out that the booking had been cancelled. They said that someone had ringed back to cancel my booking and I haven't , I had arranged spa booking and equestrian for the birthday of my wife. The room was taken and they wanted to give me another room instead of the one I have booked. They done a mistake in booking the room's and I had to plan something else instead. They did not even wanted to refund my money back.
I just did not expect such a respectable place to treat me this way.response / report this review -

A beautiful place, huge rooms and very cozy. The food was delicious and a great selection of drinks, particularly gins! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The horseriding was great too, for both experienced and novice riders.

A really special place. Quirky yet classy. Equestrian centre is friendly but run to a very high standard. The estate itself is beautiful - mature woodlands mixed with open parkland and dotted with lakes and rolling drumlins. The food is fab too!

Was here for a wedding and stayed in the lodge. Fabulous!! Food was gorgeous. Staff friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The grounds are stunning and great for walks and relaxing. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely beautiful castle? The grounds feel as if they are out of a fairytale and staff is exceptional. We spent one night there, enjoyed lovely walks around the castle grounds, a lovely 5 course dinner, and great brunch in the morning. Would highly recommend. I can only imagine how beautiful the venue would be for a wedding.

Castle Leslie is beautifully appointed and the service is wonderful. We stayed in Aggie's Room - named for Agnes Bernelle, Desmond Leslie's first wife. It is decorated like a dressing room, a nod to Aggie's cabaret and acting prowess. Every detail, down to the teapot has been thought of.
The Castle Leslie Estate is such a beautiful place to explore, with gems around every corner. There is truly something for everyone here. The food is also exceptional. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. I only hope we will be able to come back again.response / report this review -

We had an incredible experince at Castle Leslie! We stayed in the lodge and felt very comfortable! Breakfast was wonderful. We highly suggest you borrow a pair of Wellies and walk around the grounds!

Lovely place - very relaxing stay. Superior bedroom at the Lodge is very comfortable. The staff couldn't be more helpful and a long stroll around the Estate is a perfect way to sharpen the appetite for dinner!
