Great place, good music

Enter this place at your risk from the afternoon onwards; the barman, if he does not like the look of you, will decide NOT to serve you, even if you had no beverages on you. A friend of mine had a traumatic experience when he came in from work for a drink at 5pm last Friday before he met up with friends for dinner, and the barman decided to refuse them service in a humiliating manner. Even when the pub was practically empty. Now is that what you want for your pub experience in Cork? Do not be afraid to expand your horizons if you have to do so; because not everyone who gives such ambient surroundings is going to give you the service customers require. I mean, it would be understandable late at night this kind of thing. But in the afternoon??!!
