One of the few independent pubs in Cork. Love the food here and has a good classic Irish pub feel. It can be busy at times, specially when a performance is about to start in the Everyman Palace.
We came to Ireland for a week, but only came to Cork on a day tour. Luckily, we swung into Dan Lowery's for lunch. Fantastic atmosphere, a great pint, and the best shepherd's pie I've ever had. Charming place with warm service. Definitely highly recommended.
It's so unique in its decor and character. The absence of music allows for relaxing conversation
Old world charm. Not many places left like this in Cork. Perfect for Pre or post show drinks.
Most traditional Irish pub I've been to yet. Less touristy. Dark and mustybut Great ambiance, staff and drinks.
I have met some of the leading lights in Irish tech space over pibts in Dan Lowrey's and that alone makes it a five star place in my book
Just tasted the salmon and it's really fantastic. All the beers are great as well as everyone inside. A must visit!
Great staff, welcoming atmosphere. Nice cosy bar and lovely food. Also the option of sitting outside.
Cosy place, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is good pub food with weird weekly specials.
