I almost don't want to post about Wallaby Woods. I am tempted to keep it a secret. But the fabulous family who run this amazing place deserve top score. Lots of interesting animals in natural style habitats in a park that is set out into winding paths and secret gardens. Have your own party at one of the many on site BBQ areas which are little gardens in their own right. There's a grand natural playground and coffee shop and the entrance fee is tiny. A labour of love for this family. Well worth a visit.
Great for families. Able to see a good range of animals and they looked well cared for. It's just the layout and lack of signs could be improved. It's not clear when you arrive where to go.
If you have young children its a nice afternoon out. Playgrounds scattered around the wood with animals here and there adds to a pleasant visist
Amazing day out, wonderful coffee shop, super walks through the woods, great facilities to keep children entertained, playgrounds, obstical course, zipline, lots of animals big and small. Brought a picnic but also had a freshly made Pizza and fab coffee. So worth a visit.
Nice place to visit. Plenty of area to play with kids. Good for a day outing.
Great family day out..something refreshingly different :-)
Took my 7yr of daughter and her friend to see santa at Wallaby Woods and I have to say it was magic. The girls loved it, as did me and the missus. Very good value for money.
Very big, lots of different creatures, lovely staff
Went there on Sunday with my wife and three children 11,9 and 2 years old. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly member of staff who gave us information on what way to go and what we could do and see, which was great as we have never been there before.
The entrance fee was very reasonable €20 for 2 adults and 3 children.
There is a small cafe that sells tea and sandwiches, and there is plenty of picnic areas around the place to sit and eat.
The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.
My kids enjoyed it and we would definitely return again.
Excellent value for money. The kids really enjoyed themselves, and didn't want to go home even after a good four hours of running around exploring. Will definitely be returning.
