Great service but one issue was it was lashing rain and I was the 3 room I think and it's the roof and the rain was coming through the window.but from that it was amazing

Lunch for 2 adults and 2 children. Good fresh food, good portions. Nice view of the beach.

We ate here (bar/café side) over Easter. Nice views and friendly service. Strange ordering system - place order at bar and food gets delivered to the table. One of the kids had a toasted sandwich which arrived still in the toasting bag. I had the fish and chips - don't think it was beer battered, there weren't any peas and the chips were only so-so. The baked ham was nice as was the salmon but the overall feeling was that it was like a canteen.

Food is decent, but little bit overpriced, but I guess you pay for the view, which is beautiful, especially during sundown. Nice place to visit when weather is gorgeous.

We stay at The Strand every year we visit Kilkee..We have always been very pleased with the room and service at this B&B. The food is absolutely the best, we have never been disappointed. I encourage everyone to try this B&B, if the seaside view is not enough the staff and owners will make you more than welcome. End the evening with a drink watching the sunset over the bay and you are in heaven.
