Harkins Bistro has unfortunately been closed for some time.
This place is closed
Since it's inception, we have been regular customers of Harkins Bistro and have always received a warm welcome from Aidan and Emma and their staff.
Last Saturday evening we ate there again on our second visit in two weeks. We understand that there has been a very recent change in management and while we are sad to see the Harkins depart, I would have to comment that the wonderful food has gotten even nicer. The Florentine pizza is perfection on a plate.
With these great ingredients in place just a few small additions are required. Update your Facebook page as the last posting was December 23 2015. Put up some signs as most people will stop when they see the crowd in Cox's and lastly; light the entrance a little better as it is very dark.
Harkins has great staff, a friendly Chef and great food getting greater..
I look forward to my next visit.
My daughter and 20 of her closets family and friends dined in Harkins Bistro yesterday evening Saturday 2nd May, it was a wonderful evening from beginning to end.
Adrian Harkin is a true and utter gentleman and both he and his wife have things down to a tee.
The greeting we all received on arrival was just the beginning of impeccable service shown throughout the evening.
But it doesn't stop there, it was nigh on impossible to chose from such range of mains.. not that there were too many to chose from, in my opinion just the right amount and something to suit everyone (even one of our guests who is a strict Coeliac, the very sweet and competent server explained everything she could or couldn't have) it was the descriptions of what were on offer, you'd want to try some of each dish !!!! The chef is to be commended such wonderful cuisine.
Try Harkins Bistro, you will not be disappointed on any level, a restaurant that deserves to flourish.
Thanks to all.
