Avoid at all costs! I was a patient here for years and got so fed up. You'd nearly need to be mystic meg and predict when you're going to be sick to get an appointment (that's if they answer the phone). Some staff are nice and friendly but the majority aren't. I get that they're all under severe pressure, but it wouldn't kill them to have some manners! One doctor in particular is so rude and obnoxious, you'd feel bad about asking them a question, I think they forgot where their wages come from!!!!
Very superficial although I filled forms outlining my medical condirion and meds the doctor pleaded no knowldge of this. I'm a liver transplant patient. So I always insure i give this info before I get medication. Worrying.
I have been a customer here for over 4 years now with maternity care, baby vaccination and everything in between. Have had some nice and some not so nice experiences with some GPs and reception staff. However maternity nurse and vaccination staff has been always super nice. Today I went to see GP (John) for my son's cold. I received same day appointment, when arrived I was called in within 15mins and doctor did very thorough examination and was very professional and friendly. Keep up the good work and I hope to have similar experiences in the future!! Aurelija
Update: I have to say that, once they saw this they actually called me and got me a much better service, but I talked to the owner. She was helpful. -- Anytime I've been there they send me to an specialist without even checking. But don't worry, they'll make sure to charge you 62 euro even before you actually try and talk to a doctor. Better avoid it
I initially booked an appointment over the phone and thought they weren't super friendly however when I actually arrived, all staff were very efficient and punctual. For busy people like myself I appreciate time keeping a lot. Had multiple vaccinnes done and dusted within 10 minutes so credit where it's due and staff were friendly also. Pleasant experience and would recommend.
Rude staff and incompetent doctors. Every time a good doctor works there they leave within a few months. Don't recommend going there for anything.
The receptionists and nurses were absolutely great however the female doctor was the opposite.
Went to The Meridian clinic last Wednesday, 24th May 2017 for an appointment for 6:30pm. Receptionist was lovely and pleasant as were the nurses. The female doctor that I got to meet was one of the most unpleasant people I've had the pleasure of meeting ever. This lady was rude and cold I was very greatful knowing that it wouldn't be her giving me the injections. I am all for efficiency but this lady really took the biscuit. She asked me where I was going which I proceeded to tell her then she advised me what vaccinations I needed to get, to which I was still smiling and trying to make conversation and saying yep that's great I know, to which her was response was "And how do you know what vaccinations you need" I then proceeded to tell her while biting my lip that my husband was from the country we were going to and also I had done my research. This lady had to be the rudest woman I have ever met and I seriously cannot stress this enough. After paying all that money you would expect service with a smile, rude, rude, rude. I thought that maybe I had picked her up wrong however I spoke to other friends of mine afterwards who had gone there and they had a similar experience with this "lady" Everyone deserves good customer service. Can I just applaud the 2 nurses that I seen afterwards they were a joy to speak to.
Waiting times like any other clinic. Nothing to complain about.
The service is appalling!! I'm pregnant 7 months and still waiting for a doctor to see me for almost 1hr now!! Yesterday I was late by approx 15mins and they had to make a new appointment which is today!
I called to make a appointment phone was answered by recorded voice giving options then music, after 4 1/2 minutes the phone was answered with not hello but "can you hold" with not enough time to answer just back to music for another 5 minutes was just about to hang up when the receptionist came back to me. Now I've read the reviews and I have to agree with most of them, this is a business not a family doctor (I have children and they have been treated like nuisances) and I have felt like I was taking up the doctors time even though I was paying for my visit. If I was attending there enough I would actually make it my business to move but at the moment it doesn't interest me to do so. If you like me don't go often that's fine but if you are looking for a caring family practice don't bother with the Meridian its not the place for you!
We went there after we learned I was pregnant. 5 minutes visit, 2 for taking a urine sample and 1 minute to explain very high level different options we had. 60 Euros Poorer. No empathy shown by the doc that we were no familiar with the Irish health system at that point in time. We never went back there. Money making practise. You can't expect anything else from there.
Female Doc I seen wasnt great, felt like another number to her.didnt seem interested at all..reception was nice.
Both dr.are.brilliant but i woudnt give 1 star my family is patient there last 4 years and most of the time i dont rang them just.go to hospitals or ring d doc.becouse they never have time plus worst receptionist i have ever come.across in.my life no idea how to talk to people seriously.
