If you happen to be anywhere near this pub has to be added to your list of places to visit. The building has lots of character, low roof with lots on nooks and crannies, perfect for a romantic dinner and few drinks. The decor is unique, this may sound odd but its a local history of the past decades, with lots of local images and bits and bobs everywhere.

On to the food, if its excellent seafood you after this place is a must. Great portions, cooked to perfection.

The owners could only be described as a lady and gentleman and its so refreshing to see two people who have dedicated there lives to running such a well oiled machine and are professional but not false. Its also nice that the other staff try and raise the bar and are professional, this being said everyone seems to like a bit of banter as well.

Ah now to the drink! I am starting to sound like a broken record now, the pint is perfect and a great selection of wines.

I hope this next comment is not rude and if it is I will remove is as its only an opinion, this is a relaxed adult zone and not where I bring my kids, its a perfect retreat for adults in a world full of places for kids.

Finally if anyone involved in tourism Ireland actually took time to find gems like this, not only the pub but the location and marketed it across the globe the local rural communities of Ireland would be preserved forever. Places like this is what we should be selling to visitors from all over the world.

We had a 1 week holiday. Came midweek, nice crowd, very nice staff and the food was excellent but portions were too big which is a good complaint. Couldn't fault the food and drink, excellent all around.

Bank holiday Monday my friends and I went for lunch there. The food is fabulous as is the service. This is a beautiful restaurant in Carne in Co Wexford. I would highly recommend it.

We stopped here on our way back home from our hols in Ireland. This fish restaurant is fantastic. Delicious and fresh. Beautifully presented. I would consider taking a boat from Pembroke for weekend just to eat there.

Group had a good time here, was quite impressed I'd say for a lil hidden restaurant/pub down the far end of Ireland. Good service too.

Went there for nice fresh seafood. Ordered the seafood platter. Very disappointed in the seafood, not fresh, the prawns are very small. The brown scones were nice though.
