Lovely relaxed atmosphere full of interesting Nooks and Cranny's. Not ideal for mobility impaired customers. Waterford finest bookshop.
Great spot for a quiet coffee and a read in peace. Great selection of books and sundry and helpful staff.
Simply the most relaxing and intriguing bookshop I have ever been in and a choice of 2 little coffee shops , it has everything you can happily spend hours in here I absolutely love it!!!!
One of the most wonderful bookshops I know ! Great atmosphere , beautifully laid out and helpful staff. And to top it all off a coffee shop where you can take a book to read !! You can't get better then that !! A must visit in Waterford city.
Loooaadds of magazines / books / art stuff / school / cards / stationery / coffee / cakes, somewhere to sit down and relax with a cup. Lots of good points. Check it out.
Books in the Craft Section could be beefed up a bit, it was pretty lean on choice today.
This is an amazing shop set within an old cinema building which was adapted to a huge open plan book shop, there is a great selection of books which you could spend hours browsing through, there are two coffee shops inside where you can sit down, relax and read a book with a coffee. There is also a great selection of cards, magazines, gifts and a large stationary and schoolbook section.
Amazing book store! Love that it has a Philosophy section (most of the places don't).. Love the fact it has a good number of seats in case you just want to chill out and read for a bit.
Exactly as a book shop should be, with both an up-to-date selection and a good selection of classics, old and new - plus a vast magazine section.
A cafe area puzzlingly placed slap-bang in the middle of the main books section makes it difficult to navigate, and some sections such as history could be bigger. Nevertheless, lots of room is apparently made for school books.
The best bookshop in City! Can stay for day there it's huge inside. They sell everything from post cards to school stationery. Lovely shop 😍
Such a cool place for a coffee and a read. It used to be an old theatre and the whole space is now devoted to books. It's gorgeous and built across multiple levels.
The Book Centre is the best book store I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. It has a vast selection of books ranging from the classics, Books of the centenary, children's favourites, NY times bestsellers, Historical, etc. If you can name it they'll have it, and if they don't you can always order a new copy
The staff are great and there is also a Café and stationary store on the third and fourth floor.
Five stars!
Very nice place, I love the multilevel setup with book shelves surrounding seating for their cafe. The seating is spread out through the shop and you can find comfy areas that are somewhat private.
Coffee shop is cool, with one upstairs and another kiosk downstairs where you can sit amongst he circle of books on the ground floor. Great variety in terms of reading. Toilet was out of order when I was here, is the only complaint
