Really moving experience to see the Dunbrody ship. Highly recommended and the restaurant is excellent as are the staff. Top class attraction.

This was a brilliant experience learning about the the struggles of Irish people in the old world and the risks they took to cross the Atlantic for a better life. Crazy to think of how many people were crammed into the Dunbrody as it sailed for months. This is a must for anything new visiting the east.

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit we took to the Dunbrody Famine Ship. We were on the last tour of the day and our guide was very engaging and knew his stuff. Beautiful ship that tells a sobering story. Great afternoon out and I'd totally recommend it.

On the ground floor is a Tourist / Visitor center based on the Dunbrody Famine ship itself and a fantastic Cafe, with an array of Food and Coffees on offer.

It always seems ironic that the restaurant here is so good when the whole thing is about emigration due to the famine in Ireland. Well recommended.

It's an amazing piece of history with a large connection to the Kennedy (JFK) family. The SS Dunbrody is a good stop for anyone interested in emigrant history. (People leaving Ireland) Sadly, the ship is musky and in disarray. It's not well maintained even though the staff are excited to be there and do a wonderful job. See it before it rusts away.

We were privileged to visit the Dunbrody Famine Ship in August. The tour guide was well-versed in his subject and very articulate and passionate. The actors who shared "their" stories were very informative. It was an excellent tour, one that I'd recommend to others.
