  If I could give more than five stars, I would. We were spending two weeks traveling the country visiting family with our ten month old and planned a stay at the Bay view bnb in the middle. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night and honestly would have stayed longer if we had had enough time. The room was perfect for a little one to run around. It was quiet, warm, spacious and just over all perfect. Mary and her team were so warm and welcoming. Anything you needed, they helped you.
  The restaurant and pub had delicious food for a great price. One of the best meals that we'd had in Ireland.
  
  We will be back here every time we come home to Ireland.
  
  My husbands family has been coming here for generations and we plan to continue the tradition.

  Not recommended at all. This B&B is mediocre in quality and totally overpriced. The lady owning it was very rude and not understanding at all when I fell ill due to food poisoning and I had to remain in my room for longer than expected. She charged me a whole extra day because she said that she allegedly could not get a new costumer for the room that evening. It was only 5pm and everybody knows most of the people start looking for B&B to spend the night right at that time. She wouldn't even give a discount, when my only fault was that I had been sick all night and day. I'm sorry but it was dreadful. Please, don't go.

  Very poor experience with the lady who owns it. She has absolutely no manners and rips you off. Accommodation is only standard and the price is over the top. Book in there with my partner and the room we booked want the room we requested. She said she gave my room away because they were married and had a child!! So the room we got (for a romantic weekend and break away) was a basic room with 2 single beds with a huge wardrobe between the beds! I couldn't even see her. When I said it to the owner she gave me a blank stare and told me to be gratefully for a roof over my head. Never again. Breakfast was nice but the service was unbelievably bad. Asked for toast 3 times. By the time I got the toast I'd my breakfast finished. Its a joke shop. Stay clear

  Went in with wife and children and evening meal, food beautiful, clean and fresh ,only critic is we were seated in what seemed to be reception area, and cramped , we did have a 6 month old baby in buggy . Staff very polite.

  Bay view hotel is one of those places where my self anf 5 of my friends will go back to after our expeirence this Janruary , such a warm cosy friendly atmosphere , great food ,lovely warm spotlessy clean rooms . beautiful home made choice of breakfast in the morning , Mary being our hostesss with the mostess . loved every minute . well be back .
