  Horrible glutinous food. When you walk in there, the overpowering smell of MSG is not good. I got a takeaway there one night and had some leftover, next morning, it was the consistency of old wallpaper glue. Yuck. I prefer to drive the 6 miles to City Centre Ramen which is a lot better. Soba need to up their game by 500% before I'll go back there. Staff are not very friendly - indifferent.

  In Glanmire area one of its kind, besides two quite over dated Chinese restaurants, the only Asian street food you can get. Even though the city is full of fresh new Asian street food restaurants, unfortunately Soba is using its location and prime spot in Glanmire. Maybe that's why it's overpriced, somehow tasty but it has a very very limited menu. And they don't do chips! Give us a choice, if we want to be healthy we will order sticky japanese rice but chips are able to get at every single food place on the planet.
