As the new trends require, the Sirius Art Centre extended its original function of art gallery to that of a Cultural Centre adding on a cosy cafe. The staff is really kind, and everyone does its best to ensure that everything works fine. As a foreigner I already knew that Irish constitution prohibited abortion, however I first heard of the 8th amendment campaign when visiting here.

There are often small interesting exhibitions here as well as tourist info . It's a lovely building that once was the club house of the Royal Cork Yacht Club (oldest Yacht Club in the world they say). Lovely views out across the harbour.
