TLTR: Wonderful B&B with a superb host. Cozy rooms, amazing homemade breakfast, sweets treats in the afternoon. Great recommendations for trips by the host. Definitely worth a stay!

We stayed at Sika Lodge for 5 nights. The room was very big, with a comfortable bed, a big closet, a desk and an arm chair. There was a bottle of filtered tap water (and two biscuits) on the desk that was refilled every morning. Next to the bottle were two cups for tea and coffee, which could be made with the provided water heater. Coffee and tea were also given to us in a small basket. The room was equipped with a tv (medium to large size) that had a DVD player build in. DVDs and books were avaible to let. Sometimes you can hear a car passing by on the country road next to the house. This was very quite though and never disturbing.

The bathroom was newly and very nicely renovated and and had a good size. Unfortunately the shower head was installed a little low for me (this shouldn't be a problem for people of normal size though). Towels in different sizes were provided by the host.

We had the ability to chose from a breakfast menu with 4 options on it. This breakfast was then accompanied by a small continental breakfast buffet with homemade pastries. Since we stayed a whole week we had the chance to try every option on the menu. It was all homemade and delicious. The pastries varied on a daily basis. We never had the same cake twice. Since we hadn't planned every stop of our trip we asked the host for some recommendations. All of them were great and lead to the perfect experience.

Love this B & B - this is my third visit and the food and hospitality keeps bringing me back A good base for all that Killarney has to offer! Looking forward to our next visit already!

A very good base to explore the Ring of Kerry as the B&B offers not very large yet nicely appointed and clean rooms. The only minus is the noise from the road which is not really a big problem with the window closed but would be difficult to bear with the window open however little traffic on night. Breakfast is served in a nice room and there's choice of different breakfast from classic Irish to salmon. Close to one of the Killarney National park entrances. The town can be reached by foot although that's a good walk. Only cash or bank transfer accepted for payment.
