Booked 3 weeks in advance, day before scheduled arrived informed about what time will show up, the request was approved on the day. Upon showing up to the hostel was met with very unfriendly staff with a I don't care attitude. Was very unhelpful and just didn't care about the situation sending us off to a different hostel. Wouldn't recommend.

Had booked month in advance, when arrived told they didn't have any room for us, staff in the restaurant very friendly, but the woman dealing with accommodation was rude and unhelpful, hard to find the entrance to the hostel, entered through resturant cos couldn't find any other way in,,

Knock on the door to get in after dark. Restroom is awkward and not entirely closed, but that's kind of what hustles are about. Pretty tea room, however. Also, those cubes on the table are sugar cubes.

It's a budget B&B/Hostel so don't expect the Ritz. It does the job and it's a good price. The breakfast however, is AMAZING.

Estaba reservada en una habitación de 6 personas y en realidad hay 8, el wifi no llega a las habitaciones de la segunda planta por tanto no llega el wifi a todo el establecimiento, no hay calefacción en las habitaciones cuando dice que hay calefacción en todo el edificio, las salas comunes no existen y la atención por parte de los trabajadores es desinteresada. Un horrible experiencia.

Had a good experience there but the dorm wasn't fully booked so I only had to share with four other people. There's an open window over the bathroom door that lets you hear everything going on in there. Breakfast wasn't much but in a lovely old fashioned tea room.

There are zero signs showing where the hostel is I had to ask a local as I walked up and down the road. The website said it accepted credit cards but the owner wouldn't take my card, she said only cash and pointed me to the ATM. Came back with cash and she didn't have change for me. I made a big stink about it and she "found" the proper change. The room was basically just a regular bedroom packed with 12 bunks and just one bathroom for all of them. Luckily it was only me and two other guys or it would have been a madhouse trying to use the bathroom because there are none in the "hostel" (it's more like a packed B&B). The room was FREEZING! The heater didn't work and there were holes in all the windows. There is no "high speed I internet" just cruddy wifi that doesn't even reach your room. The fireplaces are not lit like in the description. And the rooms look nothing like the pictures. I was told there was a night person for the door (because you don't get a code or a key to get in, you just have to knock and hope someone lets you in from the cold). I left food in the refrigerator for my early morning breakfast before I headed out and wouldn't you know, there is no night person and the kitchen is locked. I also left my coat in there when I was making dinner last night and called in the morning to see if I could get my stuff out. Instead of coming to unlock it I had to wait for two hours for the dang place to open. So many inconveniences. I would never stay here again. I should have followed my gut and just left when she sent me to the ATM. If you want a cold place to sleep go for it.

I had an awful experience there. There was no change for my deposit and a drunk foreign guy snicked to my friends bed in the middle of the night. I don't recommend sleeping there.

Shower was cold, advertised WiFi but there wasn't any (that reached my room anyway), and advertised photos were not the same as room. Also there was a hole in the wall that went all the way through to the outside - could have been covered simply by a picture. Most staff were friendly, especially the young girls! And breakfast was lovely.
