Watched the Wales v Ireland match here. Huge outdoor screen with a covered and heated seating area. Good choice of food and drink on offer too.

Had a lovely stay here. They staff were all very helpful and nice and professional.
We had a very nice suite on the 2nd floor. Granted it's a little walk from the elevator, but the walk is worth it for the room and the space.
I would recommend Scotts highly to all.
We had a lovely breakfast in our room, which was still hot when it arrived (we've had different experiences in other hotels).
Dinner was very nice, albeit with a slightly limited choice, but the food was lovely.response / report this review -

My travelling companion and I, although we are both young, feel that we were mistreated due to our ages (19). We had breakfast included and we were not given proper service. Everyone around us was served promptly with coffee and tea and we weren't offered anything. This scenario played out the same at dinner as all other tables were given glass pitchers of water and stainless steel cutlery while we got a plastic pitcher of water and subpar utensils. Over all, we defiantly felt slighted and left disappointed with our stay.

Spacious and clean apartment very near the city center with all the amenities needed. There's live music in the street until 23hrs, so if you're wanting to make it an early night, you might have some difficulty because of the noise. Otherwise a great place to stay.

This hotel was rated as a 4-star hotel. And that is completely incorrect! The only thing I liked about this hotel is that they allowed us to cancel our reservation and move to another hotel. The staff was just as welcoming as the hotel itself. Our room smelled like old carpet. The bed was not comfortable. The bathroom on the main level had feces spread across the toilet. Maybe this is a hotel that is comfortable and financially suited for large groups, but not for two female friends who would like to stay at a 4-star hotel, which this is not.

Not the best service; the clerks at the desk gave my friend attitude immediately . Maybe they were having a bad day but every time we encountered them was unpleasant.
Having said that the staff cleaning the rooms and restaurant staff were very pleasant.
We did not know ahead of our visit that LOUD music would play nightly until 11:30pm under our window ( no a/c nor fans in the room)

The lobby and bar are nice, but the rooms are obviously aged and lacking anything special. The bathroom is what I judge hotel rooms on and it was weak. The bathroom was 2 stars, the rest of the place and people are 4 stars, hence 3 stars.

Good beer and lots of seating. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The roast I ordered was nice and flavourful, but I wouldn't say it was amazing.
