You could stay at any 5 star hotel in the country and not have as good an experience as Roundwood House. House and grounds so full of character and charm. We had an amazing night here with all the family. Starting with some beautiful home made scones, proper coffee and tea pots with knitted tea cosys. Our 5 course evening meal was absolutely stunning. Every course and every bite was delicious. You could be mistaken for thinking you were eating Michelin Star food. Simple, fresh ingredients made into something amazing. Our hosts Hannah and Paddy, such lovely people. So warm and welcoming. They have managed to create a really special place that everyone should experience. You feel so at home and so comfortable. Fantastic night. I can't wait to go back. 5 star hotels don't have a patch on this place 😍😍

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hannah's and Paddy's. I fell in love with the house, the gardens and our little cottage at first sight. We were provided with everything we could wish for (homemade bread for breakfast for example or fresh vegetables from the garden). The hospitality we experienced was heartwarming. Roundwood house is a true treasure and we definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful Experience at Roundwood House
We recently organised my sisters hen party in Roundwood house with 27 girls :). Hannah & Marie were great to deal with through the booking and organising, they were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them.
We had such a wonderful day & night at Roundwood, using all the fabulous rooms. The 3 course meal served in the evening was absolutely delicious and amazing especially considering all the allergies and intolerance's that were accommodated for in our group. We especially loved the Moroccan vegetables for started and the lamb main with a blueberry reduction was just delicious.
Our hen was so happy with the weekend and all the girls were raving about the house, grounds, service, food, beds,the atmosphere and of course the late night sing song with Paddy & Joe.

We stayed at the cottage, the facilities provided within were perfect and allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our stay. Very friendly and welcoming hosts and their dog was absolutely gorgeous, our own dog fell in love! Highly recommend both the cottage and the house as a whole!

The most special part of our family vacation in Ireland. Roundwood House is everything we hoped an Irish country B&B would be. So glad we trusted the good reviews! It was only a few days ago but we already miss Paddy and Hannah and the girls. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your lovely home.

Had a wonderful time at Roundwood house last week. So peaceful-the only noise is the birds singing! You can stroll around the house, which is in the middle of the countryside, and see the donkeys or go for a longer walk in the Sliabh Bloom mountains, which are only a short drive away. Or just chill out in the stunning library if its raining. The food is absolutely delicious. Hannah and Paddy are the best hosts. Nicest place I've stayed in a long time!

Great experience. We stayed in a total of 6 places in Ireland this was one of the best. Lovely family run B & B. Dinner was a special treat and a must to have if staying there. Love the history of the home.

Congratulations to Sarah and Sean! (just married at the Roundwood House)
The Roundwood House was fantastic! Paddy and Hannah could not have been better hosts, for the two nights we stayed, we felt like part of the family. The wedding went off perfectly and meals were amazing! Paddy is an excellent Chef! The whole Roundwood House family and crew deserve more than a great review! If you are looking for a place filled with history, character, beauty, nature, and enchantment, this is the place for you!
Wifi worked best in the sitting room on the main floor (router location).
