  Words can't explain how wonderful our stay was at the Railway Cottage. When we arrived at the cottage, it was as beautiful as the pictures on this site. Walking up to the cottage the blooming pink roses framed the door. After entering the main living area, we noticed fresh scones, brown bread, preserves, and butter on the kitchen table. These were baked by Carmel earlier that morning. The kitchen was useful as we decided to cook a few meals in. We felt extremely comfortable and at home in the cottage from the day we arrived until the day we left to return to the states. After this trip, we feel like we now have "family" who run and operate the Railway Bed and Breakfast where the cottage is located. We are ready to go back.
