This hostel has everything you could possibly want in a hostel: an amazing atmosphere, great staff, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, a beautiful view

It’s this really comfy and homey feeling place (and the kitchen is better equipped than my own) that is spacious enough that you can avoid other guests if you so choose but also provides great opportunities to meet the other people in form of, for example, a TV room and a bar.

The view is breathtaking and definitely worth the drive.

Thank you, Fergal, for being an amazing host and topping our trip off with a cherry! We hope to see you again in the spring!

Big but cosy hostel right at the Killary Fiord. Off the main road so you will be right in the irish wilderness :) Great place to stay. Nice staff, well maintained. Free breakfat and wi-fi.

This place is soooo good. Well it depends what you want, but you can make yourself at home here, bar stress, kitchen, lounges Totally relax in a gorgeous mountainy, dewey, setting GI for fur krs, cycles, swims, whatever, and then city OK up some food, chat, relax. Perfect.

Top hostel, lovely staff, great location, lots of activities and a super vibe to the place. Stayed in many hostels all around the world, this is up there at the top. Lovely ambiance, and largely due to all the young friendly international staff. Full of energy and fun. I enjoyed my 2/ nights pit stop. Go raibh maith agar a chairde, Stephen

Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere with the fireplaces on every night! Well equipped kitchen and good beds.. View over the fjord is superb, especially from the waterfront.. Provide a simple but free breakfast.. Coffee and tea is also provided. Good place to explore the area of Connemarra..

What a fantastic place, friendly helpful staff, great location; we were in a car so the six kilometre journey out from Leenan was not a problem for us, but would be a hassle if you're on foot. We use this as a base to cycle around Connemara, and come almost every year, a family of six in a six bedroom room (3 bunks and ensuite bathroom) with breakfast, towels free WiFi, and a cosy social area all for €69, no arguments here.
