  Nice food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. A nice fire in the lounge.
  Large car park at the rear.
  My father in law's meal took quite a while to come and we were half finished eating ours. Staff apologised but not sure why the long wait. My father in law lives in Strokestown so it's very handy for us.

  This hotel embodies the real 'spirit of hospitality' - I fell ill last night traveling home - special thanks to Edel and Kim who took such good care of me - they didn't need to - I wasn't a guest, but I needed help and their spontaneous warmth, concern and care was second to none. Thank you both for your kindness. I shall definitely be back!

  This is a family run hotel. I am always well looked after by very friendly and very reliable staff who I have known for a few years now. "I will be back".

  Food was only ok, vegetables were overcooked and reheated in butter. My veg actually tasted of the smoked haddock that my fellow diner ordered. I am guessing that the same cooking spoon was used to handle both. The roast beef was totally over cooked. My coffee was nice. Both times that I have eaten there recently I have been very disappointed with the standard of the fare, however, my companions (both times) like to eat there. I will not be going back to eat there but would have a coffee.
