The Odeon we have here in Waterford is a very good place to watch the latest movies. It features all the parts you expect to be in a cinema such as a Food Shop. They have a Costa Coffee downstairs which is just as you'd expect it to be. The food in Odeon Shop is just what you would expect your sweets and popcorn and your drinks. You can also get Ice Cream there. (Pro Tip: It's super easy to sneak your own food in. Your not suppoused to but you can really easily). The place itself is very clean and yes sometimes you may see the odd Popcorn box laying on the floor but it's purely just to do with the type of establishment it is. The Toilets are just about as good as any Public Toilets if your fussy about germs this will probaly be a loss for you. The system works like this you buy your ticket whether that be at the counter of the Food shop, On there website or from the ticket machines located on the upper floor near the Food shop. It has a screen number on it if you get 1 your in the biggest screen if your in your in the smallest screen etc. You go in watch about 5-7 Minutes of ads 5-7 minutes of Trailers and then your movie starts. The seats could be slightly more comfortable and they charge you Extra for the "Premiere" seats. The Omniplex Cinema honestly is better when it comes to comfort. Well that is my review of Odeon Cinema if you are going there enjoy the movie as for me I'm going to "Join the club everyone is talking about"

Nice place to drink a genuine espresso or a capuccino at ODEON Costa Cafe Unfortunately not so tidy!

Went to odeon on Sunday 6th Aug at 6pm, the cinema was filty from popcorn and sweet wrappers Been thrown around and looked like it hadn't been cleaned since earlier that day.. don't understand why people pay for premium seats when people who hadnt paid could sit there and no staff to check..

Very modern cinema with all the facilities and special deals for students and families. There is even a coffee shop downstairs if you fancy a tea or a coffee and cakes before watching a movie. Toilets available aswell

Expensive. Good seats and screens, however the movies are not policed well for disturbances e.g. talking or mobile phones.

Very good cinema. Biggest advantage in comparison with other cinemas in Waterford city is free parking near Tesco store. So, buy some popcorn, sweets and drinks in Tesco beside, park for free and enjoy your movie :)

Waterfords odeon cinema is great, they have a Costa Coffee downstairs ran by the cinema, so not only can you enjoy great movies with the regular soft drink and pop corn, you can bring your Costa Coffee too.. Also they have a medium sized selection of ice creams at their Ben &Jerry's stand.. And on Wednesdays, they have a €5 movie day which can be handy for catching a movie or a Cheap date on the fly ;)
Also they have a loyalty card service with can be handy. The chairs are comfy, but some times when it isn't like a midnight screening or when the theater room isn't packed. It can be kind of chilly, so consider a jumper or something?response / report this review -
