Overpriced and overrated. All main meals come with boiled potatoes in their jackets(even though one is not told this on the menu). We were told that we could have as many potatoes as we liked as long as they were cooked in the aforementioned style. Henry Ford and his black Model T Ford come to mind! The staff looked upon our 10 year old son and 12 year old daughter with disdain as they dared to ask for chips with their meals. The quality of the food was to be fair pretty good, however not worth the handsome price paid as the dining experience was ruined by the whole we'll tell you what you can have vibe!

Nice atmosphere and good food but slightly pricey in my opinion. However, the Farmgate is somewhere you can relax over lunch without feeling you've overstayed your welcome.

We have been eating at the farm gate for the last 15 years ! I can't recommend it enough the food is always fantastic. You won't leave without a full belly & a smile on your face. The staff are so helpful & welcoming we have spent many special occasions in our fabulous restaurant!
There is also a great deli to have a great farm gate meal at home 😊
