A good quality hotel. Cheaper than most but they don't skimp on quality. Good friendly staff. Good restaurant and bar, plus meeting and private dining rooms. Off road parking. If booking by phone ask them to confirm the reservation and be ready for them to pre-validate if paying by credit card - which can be annoying.

Nice stay, expected something quite different. Rooms are standard, nothing out of the ordinary.

The big problem was kids running up and down the hallway screaming and slamming doors and music blaring in our window at 1am from the function room we came here to relax and we really didn't get that.

Pity seeing as the hotel is quite nice and if it wasn't so loud I would have given 5 stars.

Place is not as good as it was a few years back since it's changed ownership, hot tub outside wasn't working at all during our visit and table service in bar on last night of our stay was shockingly poor.

Staff completely ignored us for a good 40min even though the bar was mostly empty, we said it to reception upon checkout next morning but they didn't seemed overly concerned and gave us some voucher which gave a percentage off next booking if used within the next month.

Nice location, close to town and easy reach of Cork city attractions.
    Reception welcoming and staff friendly.
Our initial room, 129, was very disappointing with very badly stained carpet, furniture and mattress. When requested we were moved to a newly renovated room with much nicer furnishings, room 234. House keeping was still a little on the poor side, dirty fingerprints on doors and some surfaces, but on a whole a 100% better than first room.
Food was very nice from the restaurant and breakfast was of a high standard.
There is a gym and swimming pool but we did not use these as our days out were very long and full. If using the pool you must have/buy a swimming hat at a couple of euro each.
I would definitely revisit but would take wipes for cleaning door handles, TV remote etc just for added hygiene security.

Nice rooms, modern bathrooms. Staff are friendly. The food in the bar is good, not great, asked for a medium rare steak and it was fully cooked through. Breakfast was the most disappointing part of the stay, food was very processed and cheap.

The hotel have tidy up the bits everyone can see on the outside and main area's, however they haven't done anything to the rooms I have stayed in.

The room I stayed in recently had a double bed made up of two singles and the one on the left had been slept in that much that it was sunken! The windows couldn't be opened and the room was extremly hot.

I have been coming here every year for 10 years now on buisness and I do have to say though that the food has improved on an evening. However the breakfast is nowhere as good as it used to be and has gone down hill.

We managed to get a room at the last minute. We were looked after beautifully. Extremely comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Great staff, great breakfast service, the front desk attendant even went to get us plates and cutlery for our take-away that we brought when we arrived late. Bed was very nice, and the bathroom was wonderful. The only disappointment was that they were holding a wedding that night and the music was going loud and strong until a bit after 1. Breakfast was self serve and was wonderful.

Clean, modern, and good breakfast buffet. Parking issues with affairs going on there are the only negative.

Suite was beautiful. Bar was quiet for a Friday night. Only served food in the bar as restaurant was closed?? Dinner and breakfast was great. Service was good too.
