Greatly overrated. Expensive for bar food. Disappointing

Lovely food (I had the chicken stirfry). Generous portions. The only issue I had was that it (the pub) was a bit cold. If the heating was on, I couldn't feel it. Otherwise lovely food and great service.

Fantastic place, staff were brilliant so helpful and great with our kids, as a party of 14 its not easy to deal with, they were great, and the food was amazing for all kids and adults, best food in youghal maybe even Cork

    Perfect short stay.
We stayed for two days last week - a repeat visit - and it lived up to the high standard of food and acomodation that we expected, based on previous visits.

Really comfortable beds and bedrooms. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, not just the family but anyone we had interaction with.
Great breakfast cooked to order, and the seafood we had for dinners and lunch - simply the best.
Whether it was the crab, prawns, scallops, skate, seafood risotto or monkfish, all were fresh and delicious. I dont believe that you can get better seafood anywhere in Ireland. And its good value at the prices charged.

And the town is worth visiting - the Raleigh Quarter is well worth visiting, as well as the other historic sites in the town. And the 5-mile beach - we had a lovely day there.
No complaints, and we'll be back.

Great service. Friendly staff. Had plaice but it was deep fried. Would have preferred it pan fried. Monkfish and risotto was amazing

We have visited twice to dine. The customer service lets this lovely restaurant down. Lets hope this improves so that we can revisit.
