Service was terrible. Had the two-course special and was tricked into paying an extra 7 euro since I ordered the Ribeye steak for a main course in the 2-course special. In fine print it says something about "supplementary 7", which I had not noticed until checking the menu again after paying the bill. The Ribeye was quite good, and cooked correctly, but killed by having a side of chips (fries) served with it. The creme brulee for dessert was made from a mix (thin and grainy). It's not that hard to make creme brulee from scratch - it's only four ingredients!

Service friendly and wide choice of by the glass wines but not all listed on the food menu so ask for the wine list! Only 2 ribs on my main so not massive or massively impressed but was tasty. Chicken stuffing sandwich was huge in compassion go figure. Otherwise good flavours and good salads. Getting attention was hard at times even though not massively busy paying took forever small things but can be annoying and staff otherwise friendly and good.

Really great place. Right in the centre of things. Had the ribs to start which were lovely. Rib roast of beef was fantastic. Finished with a very nice banoffee pie. My mum had the creme brûlée which unfortunately seemed to not have been allowed to set for too long. That was the about the only issue. Would defiantly recommend going to.

Steaks are great. Attention to detail is very poor. Sour chocolate in the desserts is just not on. 10ml of sauce in a tiny ramekin with your steak is shocking..

When we arrived for a late lunch they were out of gas for the draft beers. I ordered a bottled beer which was served to me with ice because the beer was warm. Had I known I would have chosen a different beer. The fish and chips were extremely greasy like someone had poured grease onto them. I know fish and chips is fried but this was not my first time ordering them so I know the difference. The French fries were undercooked and not tasty.
On a high note the server was friendly and tried to be accommodating.response / report this review -

Got there just after 9 on a Wednesday, the food was cooked to perfection. The only problem I had with this place was trying to leave it. We had some of their amazing cocktails before leaving and ended up staying till close. Top Notch.

Really enjoyed a meal here before Christmas. Superb seafood options and a good wine list had the house white and baked hake for mains, mussels to start. Lovely warm room and friendly staff. One of the best restaurants in Galway in my opinion, a bit pricey, but worth it.
