Michelin standard food & service in a cosy & elegant setting. We love coming back.

Nice country house hotel. Not really my style but I won't let that cloud my judgment. Staff were friendly, rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Food was good. Also there's a rogue peacock that likes to walk on the roof of the hotel. :)

Where to start..gorgeous grounds, wonderful staff who are attentive but not overly so. Relax and read the papers or a book or have a stroll in the gardens. Wine and dine in your choice of restaurants. Don't miss George the peacock!!

Wonderful meal in the Duck restaurant, excellent service. Nightcap in the Marfield library was a lovely end to the night with wonderful service from Ed.

Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this lovely hotel! The setting is lovely, beautiful grounds, elegant but cozy interiors and really delightful staff! We had dinner at their more casual restaurant, The Duck, and a wonderful Irish breakfast at the main restaurant. Both were perfect. Would definitely return given the opportunity!

Food the best I've had in years! Staff very friendly, we sat around for the afternoon in the small rose garden just relaxing, there was no one rushing us to leave. A very good experience, great day! (And I'm a very fussy being at times!)
