Had a fabulous meal 2n in the maldron I have an autistic child and it was the most relaxed I've ever felt the staff were very understanding of his issues with doors he sat most of time but when he didn't the staff carried on as if it was normal for him to want to open doors I didn't overstay our welcome as I no it can be awkward but thank you to the staff 2n it means so much a really family hotel

Was part of a large group who stayed here. Staff were friendly and helpful.Only ate breakfast but very good choice for all types of eaters.
Very good value hotel in a very convenient place in Cork city centre. Only drawback could be the small car park but otherwise a very good affordable hotel

Great hotel, clean and friendly staff.

Rooms well equipped and comfy. Close to city centre.

Breakfast lovely, plenty to choose from: from cereal to cooked breakfast.

Hotel has a gym but does not have a squat rack or free barbells so not really suitable for my training programme. Great if you just want to do cardio and use machines as there are plenty of them. Also has a swimming pool.

Good location for access by foot to city centre. Car parking a bit of a nightmare, only about 15 spots in hotel car park, 1st come 1st served and spots are always full so when you get back to the hotel in the evening you don't know if you will have somewhere to park! If car park is full the hotel staff tell you to go hunting for a space out on the street and they will sell you an on street parking permit for a max of 2 hours! Our room was lovely being an executive room. The lift is another chore, there is only 1 and it's quite slow so if you don't like using stairs then you have to wait for the lift to slowly serve the 6 floors of the hotel. Also, the hotel is located quite close to Shandon Bell Tower which just happens to ring the bells every hour - even during the night! So I would advise asking for a room on the other side of the hotel.

Nice hotel with nice accommodations. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. Hotel is family friendly and located within walking distance of the main shopping center. The only drawback is parking. Limited spots for hotel patrons and street parking can be a challenge as well.

The rooms were very clean however I found the staff to be quite rude. The walls were paper thin, the mattresses as hard as the floor, and we were sleeping next to a cemetery and church who rang bells around 11 pm. The food we ordered at the bar came out luke warm and there weren't any healthy options. The WiFi didn't work half the time we were at the hotel. For 175 euros I expected a much nicer and well run hotel.

Stayed here during my birthday trip to Ireland last October. Very friendly staff. Parking is sparse to say the least. They had a great bar in the lobby and offered a breakfast buffet in the morning. I would certainly stay here again.
