  This is a fabulous restaurant. We have been eating in Mac's of Main Street since 2003 and NEVER had a bad meal there. The food is of a consistently high standard and the staff are exceptionally pleasant and friendly. Worth a detour.

  Macs was sophisticated, yet cosy. The food might seem slightly pricey on first glance. However, the portions were generous, and certainly the quality was sufficient to make up for it. We had a chef's menu, which we thought was very reasonably priced for a three-course meal. The chowder and lamb shank was superb.

  Good food at a fair price.
  
  BUT: Service is very very slow though. Been waiting at least 20mins to order (not to mention the long waiting time it took to get and settle the bill). Staff was very stressed and therefor not very friendly and caring at all.
  
  All in all I wouldn't go there again

  Atomsphere was very modern. Staff was really friendly and great. Food was amazing. Lamb shankfish and chipssteakand torttolinis were all amazing. We shared the pancake wrapped in ice creamdefinitely a must have!!!! Had some latte to stay awake and was presented awesome!

  Fantastic Food at very reasonable prices.
  Really friendly staff
  I have eaten here countless times would definitely recommend it to everyone
  Try the roast of the day with a creamy pint of Guinness, the ice cream and warm pancake with butterscotch sauce is a must for desert!

  When you go here you MUST try the Cottage Pie.it is really hearty and filling but tastes amazing. the fish and chips are really great too Enjoy!!
