We loved it! It was informative and it's always lovely to see the working dogs. It was far more touristy than we expected though. When we arrived there were 3 coach loads of tourists!
No fault of their own but the weather was raining and cold. The dog was amazing! So smart. Smarter than a lot of humans I know.!Border Collies rock!So obedient.
Awesome place to visit - the family puts on an amazing experience for all to see.
This place is absolutely worth it! Call ahead and see if they're doing a tour for a big group cause you can hop in on those. (Min of 15 people required for tour.) They have a fascinating sheep herding exhibition with their sheep dogs and afterwards you watch one guy shear a sheep both with electric clippers and old fashioned shears. The two tour guides are really knowledgeable since this is also their job and they've been sheep farmers since they were boys. They know the history and really care for their sheep. The tours pay for their farm and allow them to raise 2,000 sheep without killing a single one for produce, while also maintaining a charming tradition.
Fabulous experience! Great show that educated us all on both the herding and the shearing.
Real entertaining show and some nice skills by both the farmers and the dogs. If you are interested in how sheep farming works, I would definitely give IT a try!
It was amazing to watch the dog in action! And to learn more about how and why the sheep are sheared.
Great entertainment!!! Intelligence of Irish sheepdogs is amazing.
The best sheep farm ever
Great for the kids to see the sheep dogs rounding up the sheep and some sheep shearing.
we visited in March 2016 and it was a wonderful experience seeing first hand livestock while visiting Ireland. I will recommend this a prime stop for all nature and animal lovers.
Great experience and very nice people. You get all the sights and smells of a working sheep farm. Loved it!
