This place is an absolute gem in Connemara, amazing rooms, food, staff and what a location. It's got some great touches; natural locally made soap and bubble bath in a ceramic jug!

Great location. But overall quality of the hotel was not up to how it describes itself. The phone reception in this area is poor. Their wifi quality was also poor that we basically did not have means to communicate from the hotel. The heat goes off at night by the owner's choice. It was more like a hostel.

Stopped to have Irish coffee's made with Paddy's Irish Whiskey. First rate. A very interesting place in a scenic area. Looks like a very nice place for a couple to stay.

I loved our stay at Lough Inagh Lodge. The rooms were lovely and author themed. The food was outstanding. And the living rooms were fun places to meet other visitors. We had a great time meeting other guests and swapping tourist stories. My dad was also able to hire someone to take him fly fishing here, and he had a great time. Really beautiful area of the county.

Lovely salmon lodge inn far away from other development. Good seafood fare in the bar at lunchtime.

This place was a bit pricier than we were looking for, but it was worth every penny. Our lucky teenage children have been quite a few gorgeous places with us and the whole family recently voted it our favorite place of all.

This inn feels like you've stepped back into another century. Peat fires burn in the fireplaces in commons rooms surrounded by books and comfy chairs. There is a fancy restaurant and a small pub, both of which are comfortable. The staff is highly personal and gets to know every guest even during a short stay. The Inn is surrounded by high hills and stunning landscape. I went for a gorgeous run the first day and the second day we climbed one of the peaks and then walked the high ridge for a couple of hours before descending, cold and wet, to return and shower and warm ourselves by the peat fires while waiting for dinner. I could have spent a month here (well, if someone else was paying anyway!).

The entire staff knew our name and treated us as family. We stayed there on our 45th wedding anniversary trip in May 2013. A great place.
