I enjoyed a nice lunch here yesterday. The food was good and the ambience very pleasant. Peacocks is a very well-known hotel and nightclub. Very well located on the Galway to Clifden road.

We called to let the staff know we'd be arriving around 9pm and she let us know that if she was gone that we could go into the bar and they would have everything we needed. We got there and she was cleaning up the lobby for the evening but graciously gave us our room key and informed us that the water in the area had peat in it which causes discoloration. She let us know that it was fine for showering and teeth brushing but not suitable for drinking but there was drinking water provided in the room. When we went to our included breakfast in the morning there was only one egg and a few sausages left but the woman taking care of us went and had the cook make some more. She was so sweet and then the man we assumed to be the chef came out and asked if we needed anything. Everyone was super sweet and helpful and we had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pint, cosy bar, and turf fire. Relaxing atmosphere and super location in Connemara. On the crossroads to all major attractions.

OMG, that was the mini breakfast which included chips, tea and toast, lovely and hot. Very friendly staff, offered to refill tea pot. Will definitely call there again on way to leenane. Thanks Peacockes hotel.

Motorcycle touring out of Peacockes Hotel. 4 night stay very pleasant hotel staff friendly rooms clean beds comfy. Food amazing. Not the shereton etc but good. Try the carvery it was the best beef i have ever had and im not a youngster. All in all i had a very good experience

STAFF VERY FRIENDLY, ORDERED FOOD NOT COOKED PROPERLY VERY POOR VERY LITTLE TO WRITE HOME ABOUT TOILETS I ALMOST GOT SICK THE SMELL IS TERRIBLE IN THE LADYS PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS MOB AND BUCKET COME CHEAP YOU ARE LETTING YOURSELFS DOWN BIG TIME

Its a fair hotel, you get what you would expect. The hotel is quiet old - really could do with a renovation. The rooms are also older again! :-) So if used ot luxury - this may not be the place for you. The location is great - ( not many other options in this areas also ) staff were friendlyit was fine. Would not rush to book it again for a luxury weekend - but does the job.

Stopped off at this hotel hoping to get carvery lunch. We were not disappointed. A great selection of well presented hot food served by very friendly staff. As an added bonus while we were eating we were entertained by a live band playing traditional Irish music and Irish dancing. A lovely experience by myself and my two sisters. Would highly recommend this hotel. Spotless clean hotel with lovely staff and a nice craft shop on site. Will definitely return. Well done to all in the Peacock hotel.
