Can be very busy or very quiet. Either way it's always good here

Excellent bar where you can hear the people you're with without them shouting!

Brilliant pub at 1st floor (go left and left after stairs). Quiet, good non-alcoholic beer choice, good quality (however very expensive) food served also here. Very friendly staff

One of those places you go to escape the busyness of Dublin city. You always meet a rather interesting crowds in there for a casual pint or a coffee and they also have wonderfull seating area which has that old but very cozy interior.

Me and my friends pop there quiet often for a few casual drinks, definitelly would highly recommend for small groups who want to be able to enjoy a pint but also be able to hear and talk to each other.

As for drink prices they're not cheap, but not bad either considering Temple bar is only 5 minutes up the road from there, but seriously if you like a classy looking peacefull place check this bar out you wont be disappointed!!

Classy place evoking an old fashioned living room. It's a bar without music so emphasis is on conversation. Comfy chairs by fireplaces and by lamps and books.

One of the few places without music. The drinks are also nice, and the chairs are cosy, so if you're looking for a chat, Library Bar might be the place. (If you find it - it's on the first floor inside the Central Hotel ;)

Lovely interior and nice for a quiet pint, however, maybe I didn't research enough into it but it is not acctually a library

Good handmade drinks, but not the best. The place was fairly crowded when we went, and while we got a table a few of us stood by as there wasn't enough room. The decor seemed to have changed since I had been there from the photos, but I don't remember as much of a library feel. Maybe it was the amount of people there.
