  Worst insurance company I have ever worked with, their quotes are completely misleading, especially for young drivers, I have cancelled my policy 2 weeks ago and have yet to recieve confirmation that it has been cancelled. I sent back my disk and insurance certificate crossed out and void written on it and they didn’t bother to read the email and asked for them AGAIN! An absolute disgrace!!!

  I've been insured with Liberty for the last 2 years with no claims. When I received my renewal quote for the third year the price had increased by over €600. I rang them looking for an explanation and was told it was down to the 2 penalty points I have on my policy. I told him that was impossible because the penalty points have been there for the last two years since the beginning of the policy. He then proceeded to tell me they have changed the way they rate penalty points on policies and this was the price and there was nothing he could do. I went straight on to 123.ie and after 5 minutes got myself a quote for LESS THAN HALF of what Liberty were trying to charge me with exactly the same cover. Funny thing is I got myself a new policy quote from Liberty as well and it came in at less than the renewal quote they sent me but still more than 123.ie. Absolute joke of a company.

  Refused to insure me on two cars on different occasions I have full years no claim no late payments and full licence complete joke of a company stay away

  I was a costumer for 2 years, luckily I never had to ring them for any claims or other problems, left as premium increased instead of going down, got a 20% cheaper insurance with FBD.
  Be warned! : Your Yearly renewal is done automatically, so if you are looking to move away make sure you ring them and tell them so before your insurance expires.

  I had a policy with liberty last year but decided to go with a different company this year as I wasnt happy with them. I'm now getting letters from them claiming I owe them money as they renewed my policy without my permission. This amounts to extortion and I've complained to the ombudsman. I'd recommend giving them a wide berth.

  Very un professional. I had to pay my full premium after their mistake. Got no help at all. I'll be going to a different insurance company next year. Stay away from library..

  Scammers. They increased my insurance premium by 2,230 euro once we had already agreed on the price and I was contractually bound to my policy. Stay away from these people.
